3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Beautifully hazy amber ale with a creamy lasting head. Nose and taste are quite blend: some sweet citrus, malts and a rather strong bitterness. Nice mouthfeel, a bit oily, medium bodied, medium carbonation. I really like the idea of a pure hop tasting, but it’s not that good a beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
hazy dark amber colour, huge yellowish head; aroma of pine resin, some grapefruit, hints of peach and minimal honey; taste is fully dominated by amarillo - pine resin, minimal citrussy notes - and bitterness! I really like it

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 33 cl, BBE 04.07.2015. Pours pale copper in color with a foamy whitish head. Some cellar notes, bit
of citrus and late summer meadow in aroma. Slight bitter in taste, some grassy and light herbal as well.
From the latest Bravo, Simcoe and Amarillo this one seems to b the wekast one. Feels even a bit skunky from
time to time. A bit like a decent homebrew actually, but there’s something disturbing aromaways.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is typical of Amarillo, grapefruit, berries, resin, spruce, lemon peel and tropical fruits, but compared to for example oppigårds Amarillo the aromatic qualities of the hops seem somewhat subdued, which is unlike a brew from Mikkeller.
Ap: deep amber/copper hazy colour, small bits in the liquid, medium off-white head, lacing.
T: big bite, medium sweetness, lightly sour, resinous, grapefruity bite, pronounced malt sweetness, ABV evident, lightly sour.
P: medium body, slick feel, average carbonation, bitter and slightly warming finish.
T: Solid IPA, but since my expectations always are stellar when it comes to Mikkeller they were not completely fulfilled.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: Grapefruit, Orange, Pineapple, Candyfloss, slight sweet floral edge.
Appearance: Reddy amber with slight haze. Fair sized quickly dissipating head.
Taste: Soft thick bitterness, grapefruit.
Palate: Light body, thin texture, medium carbonation, long warming spicy finish.
Overall: Lovely smell and pleasant spicy bitterness. One of the nicer single-hop IPA’s I’ve tried.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (from notes). Pours a dark golden amber moving toward brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have a base of toasted bready malts, crackers, with hops the are grapefruit citrus, some pine needles and lightly floral. Come off better on the nose than flavor. Flavor sees the hops a bit faded. This is a nice idea, but if we don’t get these as fresh as possible, well......

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Muddy, brown color with good aroma. Definitely piney and decent bitters bolstered by a smooth malt. Overpriced for what it is, but good drinking.
