COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Amarillo is a very popular American hop variety, which has gone from strength to strength all over the world. Plenty of floral aromas and pine needles and plenty of raw bitter taste. This Single Hopped IPA is a chance to taste Amarillo completely isolated from other hops.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (amarillo) and yeast.

Over-the-rim rocky head. Tight froth, lots of chunky lace. Lots of stringy cloudiness (very odd). Darker amber color. Strong, but not overwhelming, floral pine-like hop aroma. Very bitter flavor--more than most "regular" IPA’s. Light malt flavor on the back of the tongue. The aftertaste is like sucking a hop pellet. Decent body with a lower than expected carbonation.

One of the Single Hop IPAs made at the ’Proef’brouwerij. Very rocky and thick, yellowish white head - the positive effect of hops on head formation is clear. Misty amber colour, very citrussy hop nose, lime, orange zest, spiced gin, raw potato, oatmeal cookies, tonic water. Soft citrussy onset with medium carbonation, caramel malts in the background, quickly overpowered by a very strong, spicy, peppery, grassy, long hop bitterness.

On tap: A clear red-amber colour with a high off-white head. An aroma of toast, caramel, orange and citrus. The taste is medium sweet and medium bitter.

11.2 oz bottle poured in shaker no idea when brew was born. Pours brown, a ton of large sediment and a foamy off white head that stays. Light Amarillo (piney/leather) hoppy smell, really hardly anything on the nose. Hardly much flavor to this either, light and bubbly. Taste mildly hoppy with a grassy wintergreen aftertaste. Maybe it is past its best by date because it is hardly hoppy enough to be considered an Ipa. Bland and easy going, still gotta rate it cost $6.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head.
