4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at monthly tasting session @ De Molen, hosted by dEnk. Hazy copper pour, solid foamy white head. Aroma is slightly spicy, meaty, somewhat sweaty and earthy. Flavor is slightly bitter, somewhat hoppy and strangely out of balance. Weird hop.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Mogwai. Helsingborg, December 2011.
Aromas of melon, grapes and papaya. I get some salty notes as well, what a weird hop! Slightly tart in the taste with flavours of apple, herbs and gum. Interesting! This is why I enjoy single hop beers.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2012 Botled. Pours Slighty hazy and deep amber with a med. Sized off-white head. Rater Odd nose of caramel, herbal and earthy hops with notes of citrus. Sweet flavor again with herbal/earthy and citrushops along with caramel. Med. bodied, creamy texture and soft carbonation. Ends up more dry and pleasant bitter.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Tilt, Oslo. Pours amber with a big off-white head. Aroma of fruits, caramel and spices. Fruity with a nice light bitterness. Decent IPA, and nice enough, but probably not one of my favourite hops.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2012 Light brown, almost clear body with big soapy off white head. Obviously super hoppy; mostly floral, some dry leaves, hint of parfume, grapefruit skin and a dryer, dusty tinge. Just enough smooth maltyness to form the body, setting the hops in front of everything else; not much yeast character. This is my first Mikkeller single hop rating and I expect the same for the others.Taste has full on biterness, while remaining smooth in the mouth. Nice fatty bitterness throughout the palate, which gets sharper towards the end and in the after taste gives a real nice dry, full flavour. Really asks for another sip. A very drinkable IPA on itself, but of course I will compare to the other hops in the series later. Delicious. (33cl bottle, expensive)

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, tasted beside Citra and Nugget from the series. Grassy aroma, not much citrus at all. Rich, fruity flavor, Niagara grapes, lychee, low citrus. Very interesting and original, with better flavor than either Citra or Nugget versions.
