Bottle. A dense, beige head sits on top of a more or less clear, golden body. Piney, peachy nose with resins and orange peel. Not much room left for the maltyness. A bit catpee like in the mouth, full-bodied and smooth, a nice malty sweetness blending in and also a fine bitterness. The latter especially in the end. A tasteful and pleasant IPA, although a bit on the cat pee side. Could easily drink a few of this. 111105

Tap @ Ørsted Ølbar, Cph.
Light muddy dark red amber whit a small, creamy, white film head. Aroma has red apples, overripe oranges, a whiff of pear wine gums, light citrus and a bit of peach. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, malty caramel as base, soft hoppiness with the same citrusy cherry notes with all the sweeter hops characters surrounding it. Apples again. Good lingering dryness in the finish, mild bitterness. Good, but never a favourite.

27th November 2011 Light haze on this darkish amber beer. Big fluffy white head. The head has a startling garlic flavour! Palate is smooth, a little soft and slightly dry. Creamy malt base - mild. The Apollo follows the head with more garlic and just a whisper of citrus. Finishes semi dry. Never had such a garlic led apollo beer!
