Pours a dark orange color with a large long lasting off-white head. Aroma of citrus, fruit, and sugar. Flavor of caramel malt and earthy/citrusy hops.

Bottle. Hazy orange amber, massive gold-tinted head that settles into a messy mattress. Aroma is sweet malts and soapy hops, orange peel. Sweet caramel-kissed malts seem to overtake the citrus-perfume of the hops. Finish is mighty bitter and long. Past its best days I’m guessing, but not bad regardless.

3rd for me in the Mikkeller hop series (Cascade 1, Columbus 2). 330ml bottle from Sherbrooke. This beer listed as retired, but has this label as opposed to the one listed for Bravo Hop Series. Pours a hazy copper with a fairly frothy head. sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet. cookie dough malt, and an earthy, floral note. Taste is mild sweetness (floral) and a lingering bitterness - cookie dough, caramel malt character really brought out. Bitterness really pronounced in the finish. Balanced, but not a home-run for me.

Bottle, NOLA International Beer Festival 2012. Pours a hazy orangish amber body with a small off-white head. Not sure I dig the nose on this one, it’s very sweet with lots of brown sugar. The flavor is overly sweet as well with lots of brown sugar, some light floral bitterness. I just can’t get past all the sweetness in this. Medium bodied with a clingy finish and fizzy carbonation. This one’s just not for me.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with small off-white head. Clear aroma of hops with pronounced flowery and fruity notes. Bitter, hoppy onset, leading to mild, fruity (elderflower?) notes, ending on a bitter note. Pleasant, dryish aftertaste. Very nice.

Excepcional IPA, floral e cítrica, com amargor intenso mas muito bem inserido, lupulagem divina, e ainda com sabor dos maltes e percepção alcoolica presentes.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 Pours amber colour with foamy beige head. Aroma is hops, fruity, pine. Taste is bitter, dry, crisp. Medium body, well crafted beer in my opinion.

Up with the the best of the single-hop Mikkeller IPAs that I’ve been able to track down. While some seemed unbalanced, this single hop stands up just fine on its own. Looks like a solid, well-made IPA. Right colour, great head, good length. Nothing to fault. Lovely fresh aroma of peaches, passionfruit and mixed malts. Oily body. Ripe fruit flavours, quite sweet and malt-heavy before a rasping, resinous finish. Bravo indeed. (330ml bottle from Leura Cellars. BB 11/10/13)

Bottle pour clear orangish red. Nose of pine, citrus, grass, and tropial fruit, with some malty sweetness. Taste citrus bite of hops initial, followed by mid palate sweet malt, and decent long bitter finish. Slight pepper spice in the finish.
