Bottle 33cl, an amber beer with medium head. Nose is on pineapple and grapefruit, lemon, resin, caramel, licorice, medium sweet, not bad !

Habanero (3312) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2012
Bottled. Pours slightly hazy pale amber and with a medium sized off-white head, leaving a fair lacing on the glass. Nose of tropical fruits and caramel. Sweet flavor with grapefruit, pine notes and again exotic fruits. Medium bodied, oily texture and average carbonation. Ends more dry and decent bitter. A nice and balanced IPA.

330ml bottle, nice amber-copper color, with a big frothy beige head, mild toasted, caramelized malt, light toffee nose, with some faint floral citrus, leafy, piney, minty hop accents in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a soft toasted, caramel, biscuity malt, mild flowery citrus, pine, minty hoppy character, with some toffee, light lemon, grapefruit peel, subtle lemongrass spiced flavours, with a hint of cedar, leading towards a soft maltiness, lingering lemon peel citrusy, piney, leafy, minty hop bitterness finish.

330ml bottle pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a 3 finger white head that has good retention and leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is pine and citrus with some earthy notes and light toasted grains. Taste is grapefruit and pine up front fading to a heavy maltiness and an earthy finish. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. Even though this IPA is a little heavy on the malts, I still found this to be a tasty and enjoyable brew.

Pours dark amber with a lasting head. Nose shows piny and grapefruit hops, along with a resinous note. Also a fair whack of rich sweet caramel. Flavours follow along those lines; lots of sweet, syrupy crystal malt, resinous hops and soft grapefruit/pine. Finishes with an assertive bitterness, but the malt wins out in the end. Body feels a bit too syrupy. Too much malt in my opinion, almost cloying.

Dark hazy amber pour, small beige head. Earthy, citrus, soapy pine aroma with a good dose of caramel malts. Solid carb, meium, almost viscous mouthfeel. Finish is medium on the bitterness, but finishes quite sweet.

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of earthy hops with light citrus undertones and dry caramel malt notes. Taste is also dominated by a nice dose of earthy hops with some citrus undertones and a light bitter finish. Body is full with good carbonation. Not my favourite hops varietal but still very enjoyable nonetheless.

Bottle at Craigs. Clear Orange with a lively White head. Aroma of toffee malt. Hops are tropical fruits and a little sherbet. It’s well balanced and has a pleasant bitterness to finish. Drunk side by side with the ’Summit’ .Very nice.

In bottle. Pours a dark golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of pineapple, passion fruit and caramel. Similar flavours and nicely bitter. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel.
