11.2oz bottle. Murky, glowing orange-red-brown body. Massive, steady off-white head. Nice bight grapefruit aroma. Cascade is really one of the greatest hops. Bold and full of bright grapefruit citrus, this is quite an enjoyable beer, though with the big malt and yeast presence I still think it is more of an APA. A pretty good beer, certainly, but not aggressive enough hopwise to warrant the pricetag.

Aroma has gooseberry bush, some citrus and hints of resin. Flavour has exotic fruits, hops, gooseberry bush, some pine needles and hints of nettles. Very good and rather rich for a single hop.

On tap at CBC, Clerkenwell. Bright copper color with a white head. Citrus, kind of funky/dirty smelling, but not sour really, just dirty. Super bitter, just kind of smacks you in the mouth with hops. Very interesting, mellowed out as it warmed a bit, lots more citrus flavor developed as well.

On tap at slowbeer. Deep orange pour with a thick off white head. Great lacing. Grapefruit/citrus dominant nose. Pine hops and citrus are dominant in the taste. Very hoppy bitterness. Citrus stays right through. Typical solid effort from mikkeller

Pours a murky copper color with a nice frothy head that lingers a bit. Smells like rum, very odd. There’s also some floral and grassy hops that come through. Taste is just like it smells, a flowery rum. A bit of toffee and even mint seems to come through. There’s a chance this bottle is old so I’m wondering if that’s why these odds flavors are here. It’s not terrible but I wouldn’t drink again if this is actually a fairly fresh bottle.

Pours amber with a creamy head. Excellent hop aroma. Creamy and bitter with a hint of toffee. This is the perfect representation of cascade hops.

Draft at work. Pours cloudy rose-tinted orange, moderately thick cream coloured head, very spotty lacing. Nose is very grassy, with grapefruit, light clean cardboard and caramel notes are present here, as are notes of both mandarin and navel oranges. Flavours are moderately bitter, with notes of pine, grapefruit, and caramel. Decent, but it’s not blowing my skirt up...
