Originally brewed by Mikkeller, Denmark. Recent batch brewed by Mikkeller at De Proef Brouwerij, Lochristi-Hijfte, Belgium.
The third in the series of single hop IPAs from Mikkeller. Brewed with Cascade, a true American classic hop type. This hop is less powerful than the ones used in the previous two single hop IPAs - creating a great balance with the beers other aspects.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (cascade) and yeast.

Keg @ CPK. Deep amber color with a creamy medium head. The nose is strawberry and cedar wood. Some herbal grassiness. The taste is strawberry jam, lemon-infused herbal zest, woody black pepper. Medium body. OK.

Bottled, 330 ml from Stirchley Wines & Spirits, Birmingham. Orange amber with white head. Love cascade hops and this is about the best I have tasted them, possibly. Orange, grapefruit, citrusy on opening the bottle and the first taste, dry and bittering throughout, lasting on the palate, great depth from a slightly fuller, malty body. Excellent.

Bold, citrus-y, bitter and refreshing. Shared with a few friends, so I didn’t really let it warm up. Tasty on the palate, bitter and sharp. Nice.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2012 Orange-amber, off white head, and decent lacing. Lemon, citrus, and floral aroma. Malt sweet front, lemon, mild caramel, and floral flavors. Full bodied, well balanced, and medium bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This brew pours a cloudy copper-orange color with a thick off-white head that burns away slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with a floral hops character and notes of grapefruit and sweet caramel malt. The finish is hoppy with a lingering citrus aftertaste. Pretty good Cascade showcase beer overall.

A hazed reddish amber IPA with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, nice musty biscuit malt with smooth herbaceous and floral hops, nice and well balanced. In mouth, a rich biscuit malt with nice floral and resinous hops, piney and citrus. All the astringent bitterness as attenuated to a well balanced mix. Bieropholie imports.
