Originally brewed by Mikkeller, Denmark. Recent batch brewed by Mikkeller at De Proef Brouwerij, Lochristi-Hijfte, Belgium.
The third in the series of single hop IPAs from Mikkeller. Brewed with Cascade, a true American classic hop type. This hop is less powerful than the ones used in the previous two single hop IPAs - creating a great balance with the beers other aspects.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (cascade) and yeast.

Pours amber with a creamy head. Excellent hop aroma. Creamy and bitter with a hint of toffee. This is the perfect representation of cascade hops.

Draft at work. Pours cloudy rose-tinted orange, moderately thick cream coloured head, very spotty lacing. Nose is very grassy, with grapefruit, light clean cardboard and caramel notes are present here, as are notes of both mandarin and navel oranges. Flavours are moderately bitter, with notes of pine, grapefruit, and caramel. Decent, but itís not blowing my skirt up...

Nice well composed IPA again in this series. Cascade tends to have a big citrus and almost biscuity like flavor to me. The pour is a bright orange highlighted copper body with a moderate finger of yellow head. The nose is fresh and lemony with light pepper notes and a mild grainy malt. The flavor is somewhat out of balance with crisp Cascade flavor and mild bittereness on the finish. Overall, just a good IPA.

Pours amber with a large head. Nose shows heavy grapefruit, citrus and resinous pine. Also a fair whack of caramel. Aggressive flavours, with lots of grapefruit throughout. Some balancing clean malt. Pretty sharp, piny bitterness in the finish. Could use a lighter body.

Could only ID this one by the abv. Wonder if thatís intentional. Dark orange beer, with mountains of bubbly head that lingers. Main aromas of grapefruit, pine, bit of passionfruit, with cereal malt backing. This is hoppy, and this is seriously aromatic. Itís like juice. Bitter, but could honestly use more bitterness. Tasty.

Definitely a bad bottle, cough syrup scent and has and a very off sweet/pine scent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg @ CPK. Deep amber color with a creamy medium head. The nose is strawberry and cedar wood. Some herbal grassiness. The taste is strawberry jam, lemon-infused herbal zest, woody black pepper. Medium body. OK.

Bottled, 330 ml from Stirchley Wines & Spirits, Birmingham. Orange amber with white head. Love cascade hops and this is about the best I have tasted them, possibly. Orange, grapefruit, citrusy on opening the bottle and the first taste, dry and bittering throughout, lasting on the palate, great depth from a slightly fuller, malty body. Excellent.

Hazy orange amber beer. Little white head. Softish palate, slightly dry. Lovely cascade minerally orange with a trace of grapefruit. Nice malt base. Finishes soft and dry.
