COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Originally brewed by Mikkeller, Denmark. Recent batch brewed by Mikkeller at De Proef Brouwerij, Lochristi-Hijfte, Belgium.
The third in the series of single hop IPAs from Mikkeller. Brewed with Cascade, a true American classic hop type. This hop is less powerful than the ones used in the previous two single hop IPAs - creating a great balance with the beers other aspects.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (cascade) and yeast.

Caramel malt aroma followed by an earthy/herby hop nose. Golden amber color with a medium sized foam head. Standard leafy hop taste with a decent nutty malt flavoring to it. Light citrus taste on the finish with a thin texture and crisp taste. Overall, a decent brew with little complex flavoring. A pretty standard taste, mostly of moderate hops and decent malts. I’d give this a C rating.

bottle in a pint glass - pours honey amber with off white froth and nice lacing. Aroma is caramel/roasted malts and pine hops. Taste is predominantly bitter, with a little sweetness. Full body and long dry finish. Usually don’t like IPA’s but this is one is tasty and well balanced.

Hazy amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of floral hops, caramel malt, some yeast, & citrus; Flavor of slight sweet malt, caramel, citrus hops, and some fruit; Finish is slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; The Cascade hops lack intensity but are flavorful - good overall.

330ml bottle pours a golden orangeish color with a big white head that retains well and leaves some thin spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and caramel malts. Taste is citrusy bitterness with some earthy notes and a pleasing malty sweet backbone. Medium body and nice carbonation. This is my favorite of the single hop series so far and I highly recommend this for anyone to sample.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2012 Courtesy of jrob21, Good citrus aroma lights up the nose and says man this will be good. Orange body with off white head and some thick spiderweb lace on glass. Good citus flavor with some hoppy bittering agent in the mix. A good refreashing brew while I watched the superbowl
