Originally brewed by Mikkeller, Denmark. Recent batch brewed by Mikkeller at De Proef Brouwerij, Lochristi-Hijfte, Belgium.
The third in the series of single hop IPAs from Mikkeller. Brewed with Cascade, a true American classic hop type. This hop is less powerful than the ones used in the previous two single hop IPAs - creating a great balance with the beers other aspects.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (cascade) and yeast.

A hazed reddish amber IPA with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, nice musty biscuit malt with smooth herbaceous and floral hops, nice and well balanced. In mouth, a rich biscuit malt with nice floral and resinous hops, piney and citrus. All the astringent bitterness as attenuated to a well balanced mix. Bieropholie imports.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2010 [9/27/10] Bottle at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Clear reddish amber with a n off-white head. Aroma of floral hops with lots of grapefruits and some caramelly hints. Sweetish biscuity, slightly caramelly flavor at first, turns into big citric hop bitterness in the finish. Medium-bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours clear amber with a big, frothy, off-white head. Rather large bubbles. Wonderful cascade aroma, lots of grapefruit, some slight caramel sweetness. Light citric as well. Wonderful dry and lightly creamy mouthfeel. Wow, there is some hops in this one! Very dry, lots of hops, good fruitiness, light citric tartness. Great balance of malts. This is surely a beer for hophead - thankfully I’m one if them!
