Huge fresh hop nose, crisp and high res, just heavenly. Dark amber color. Full toffee malt body, hint of grapefruit, then a big stinging hop bitter on the back of the upper roof of the mouth. Huge, aggressive beer. Am I in California? I LOVE this type of beer and this is a great example of the style. Superturboaffentittengeil!

Bottle from Rehills in Jesmond. Dark hazy amber with strawberry and tropical fruit flavours and a bitter grapefruit finish.

Man, these guys had a great idea doing the sinlge hop line of IPAs. Wonder why more breweries dont do this. Anyway, Poured a huge thick tan foamy frothy head that lasted for a little while before settling down to a light cover with some lace. Color is an almost clear copper amber. Aroma is heavy caramel, burnt sugar, hop, yeast, fruit, leather. Flavor is similar to aroma along with a little pipe tobacco and pine. Outstanding body and carbonation. Finish is like flavor and medium in length. Definitely a session brew.

resin, floral, grass, citrus, hops, hops, hops, HOPS! Aroma is a little soft compared to the rest in the series, but this beer may have the best back of the tongue bitterness (next the simcoe) of all. A+.

Bottle at Bar Fred. Great, hoppy and well balanced. Aromas of caramel, grass, and cherries. Taste is sweet and bitter, with very long length. Palate is velvety, almost creamy. Amber, with a frothy head.

A beauty. Pours with a haze of apricot and a creamy pancake that lingers. Smells of pine. Full nectar with chewy creamy effers. Hop forward with a balanced malt backbone. The finish is bittered all to hell and back with very little sweetness. It’s all pine sap resin. Good stuff.

In love with this! Dark hazy brown color with a fluffy medium tan head. Nice nose, unbelievable intense floral hoppiness. A bit biting hoppy taste, greapefruit with a peppery finish and still the malt and caramel come through big time - Awesome brew!

a very balanced single hop with grass aroma not a common beer and surely one of the best Mikkeller single hop. nothing else to say, just drink it
