Great aroma... Centennial all the way. Murky orange colour, with a nice off white head. Palate is a little thin for me, but the flavour of the hops is great. Really tasty. Having said that, I found the alcohol noticeable (or was it unfavourable esters?)... Really impressive, but for me, personally (I know, I know, tautology!!!)... it just needs a little more body. But bloody awesome beer.

A bottle drunk at a Single Hop IPA tasting I organized. The Centennial IPA gave me a mild pine smell with a slight fruity sweetness but an overall mildly bitter taste with a sharp finish. I really enjoyed this beer, I found it was the best Single Hop IPA of the 4 we tried at the tasting. Centennial does a nice job on it’s own.

Botella. Corona beige compacta y persistente, aspecto limpio y color cobre. Aroma pino y resina predomina sobre todo. En boca astringencia cítrica y floral. Final largo seco y lupulado. Buena

This swirling mass of a beer pours a dark cloudy amber with some floaties amid the vigorous carbonation and one of the tightest heads I’ve ever seen. Malt is dominant on the nose, with biscuit and some grassy hop aromas present. The taste is completely different, with lots of fresh fruit (peaches, green apple, lemon) coming through, along with some hop bitterness in the mid palate. The malt that was so prominent in the aroma fades into the background somewhat, but still lends a biscuity backbone to the beer. Finish is quite clean, leaving a light apple juice aftertaste. Very good.

Pours a clear orange color with a off white foamy head. Aroma is fresh hop, spice, earthy notes and a touch of sugary sweetness. Flavor is sharp hops, some dry notes, caramel flavoring. Good finish

Strong whiskeyish and caramel nose. Copper-orange. Nice peppery initial / sweet malty mid, with some yogurt candy / balanced finished and then a bit of a raspy aftertaste. Medium body. Pretty good. Centennial stands out, but not in a big way; the near barleywine maltiness prevents that.

33cl bottle, served in Shaker. Pours a clear amber with some sediment presence and a big beige head, very nice. Aroma is mostly orange peel and tangerine with hints of pine, like it. Taste is caramel and orange blended with toasty notes, and ending with a pleasant citrusy bitterness. Medium mouthfeel, perfect carbonation. Very good single hop beer.

Draft at J Clyde Birmingham. Cool joint. Dark hazy gold. Musty older nose. Taste has a bitter dank flavor with a strong alcohol kick. Potent ass kicker.
