Bottled sample from happy Harry's. Nice malt flavout. Enjoyed the single hops. Would try this again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Poured a deep hazy amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citra hops is quite dominant with some citrus and piney notes though the dill characteristics are not as present as I would have expected. Taste is also dominated by some citrus notes and light piney notes with some dry caramel malt and again the dill notes that I usually associated to Citra are hard to distinguish. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Well brewed but Citra is not coming out as I had expected.

Bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen June 2012. Clear amber with a medium white head. Nice fresh aroma of hops, citrus and some caramel. The same in the taste, also notes of grass. A very drinkable and refreshing IPA.

Supremely cloudy orange-red color. Completely opaque, only light can shine through. Good head retention, nice swath of lace. Looks nearly perfect. Very bitter citrus aroma, with a strong, earthy malt to balance it. Spicy, almost to the point of polished wood. I won’t lie: the nose in this intimidates me a little bit. The taste is amazingly bitter grapefruit and citrus, but with a touch of earthy malt. The balance is rather amazing: just when it seems the hop is going to dominate, the malt backbone comes in to dull it. And just when the malt gets too soil-like, the hop adds a little zing of citrus. Feels thick, viscous, juicy, and sandpapery. Really rough on the tongue, but appropriately so. This is a challenging beer; it feels a lot stronger than its 6.9% would indicate. This one is an all-nighter if you want it to be. Complex, hefty, juicy and bursting with flavors.

Bottle. Hazy brownish orange with a fluffy beige head. Aroma has grapefruit, mango, apricot, passionfruit and lemon. Dry mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a long bitter finish. Flavour has more malt coming through and a hint of mineral as well as some citrus notes but less tropical and stone fruit. Nice IPA although I imagine it might get tiresome after a few.

Pours a murky light brown/very dark yellow with ivory head that lingers. Hop aromas (citrus, tropical fruit) fill the room (more or less). Taste is similar - orange and grapefruit lead the way. Malt backbone is minimal, making it a little unbalanced. Lively carbonation. Very west coast. Bitter. Aroma is magnificent, taste and mouthfeel are a bit less ideal.

Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Hazy orange amber color. Sweet aroma with fresh herbal citrus peel. Bittersweet herbal-citrusy flavor with dank, toffee and biscuity maltiness. Slightly soapy. Smooth carbonation, full body. Good fresh IPA, slightly too heavy body.

Small glass from the draught menu at Lord Nelson. Decent off-white head with faint amount of lacing. Amber-orange body colour. Powerful fresh aroma of fresh citrus hops. The taste character follows the nose with mandarin oranges added by resin and pine. Long bitter tail. Enjoyable expression of an IPA (Copenhagen, 09.05.2012) (as rating no.5000).

Deep orange with an off-white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with malt, citrus and some caramel. Sweet and fruity with a nice bitterness. Medium body with pleasant carbonation. Very pleasant and refreshing IPA. Nice! (33cl bottle shared by Alexcg. Thanks!)

Was wondering about Citra hops. This is milder than I anticipated. Poured with a huge, billowy, foamy, frothy, fluffy, cream-colored head that lasts all the way down and plenty of lace. Color is a clear copper orange amber with lots of bubble trails. Aroma is so mild I can hardly sensey it - but ls malt, caramel, hop, citrus, hint pineapple and bare hint resin. Flavors like nose and likewise mild, fairly dry, perfectly proportionally balanced bitter and carbonic tang. Body and carbonation are spot on. Finish is like flavor, fairly short, and extremely drinkable.
