Pours a dark orange. Seeing a little sediment here too. Possibly too old of a bottle. Has a more DIPA aroma to it. Not getting much orange or lemon here. The taste has a sharp bitterness that really sticks to the roof of the mouth. Getting some lemon peel notes on the sides of my tongue. I will need to review a fresher version of this.

0,33 bottle. opalescent pale copper with big soft foam. typical IPA rich aroma dominated by lemon and sweet spices. fruity and bitter taste with a significant malt presence, but the characteristic detergent sensation of other IPA is not so strong. strong bitterness also in the aftertaste. quite smooth texture, medium body. very balanced for the style: just what I expect from an IPA!
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 maekchu (1090) - Hirakata, JAPAN - APR 7, 2013
Bottle from Asahiya. Solid caramel aroma, along with some fumes. Dark copper-orange color, with a one-finger creamy head. Caramel and pine resin initial / balanced mid / good malty sweetness. Medium body. Good enough. Citra doesn’t come through as much as I’d like. A bit too sweet, really.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2013 Absolutely brilliant beer. I’m a big-time Citra fan and love this one because it’s not a ’double’ and therefore conducive to greater consumption. Is using a single hop this good not tantamount to ’cheating’? If so, maybe cheating ain’t so bad! A ’to die for’ beer.

Botella 330 ml. Bebida a 1000 m de altura. Color ámbar no muy densa. Con cierta espuma inicial que se desvanece rápidamente. Gran aroma a frutas tropicales, mango y maraculla. En boca se percibe poco amarga, balanceado con la malta. Muy bebible y refrescante
4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 habadin (15) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAR 29, 2013
Pours hazy, aroma is great. I pick up clove honey right off the bat, with aroma of florals as well. Sweet, and tasty beer. Like the english hops, especially in this single hop brew.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a slight white head. Nose is dry and with almost an English style hoppiness to it; a little bitter but without a lot of the interesting aromas other hop varieties come with. Nice and bitter, but a little heavy.
