Tap at Mikkeller. Pours clear golden brown, short white head with nice lacing. Aroma is lychee, grapefruit and lots of caramel from the crystal malt. A lot more malty than I expected - applies to the taste too. Lots of sweet honey and caramel malt, classic citra hop flavours: lychee, mango, grapefruit and lime. Strong but not overpowering bitterness. Solid single hop, but I expected more of the citra profile to be honest.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Hazy orange beer with a nice beige/yellowish head. Hoppy grassy aroma, onion notes, hay, citrus, pine apples, some grape fruit, some biscuits. Hoppy caramel flavor, grassy, tropical fruits, hay, grapefruit, some biscuits. Hoppy floral finish.

Appearance: Amber, clear with two finger thick white head. Aroma: Lychee, orange, grapefruit, melon, spice, pine with a hint of musk amongst it and bready. Taste: Low sweetness, high/extreme bitterness, low sourness, grapefruit, resinous and iota of maltyness. Palate: Medium body, thick texture, medium carbonation and a harsh (kick in the bollocks) lingering bitter finish! Comments: Very refreshing probably due to the bitterness and astringency, enjoyable and easy to drink. The musk is offset by the multitude of other flavours and aromas. Left a glass lace.

I called it, just. Citra baby. Most delicious but not as good as you know who, but then, who is? My drunken Saturday night 1p purchase from Amazon this week was Shame about Ray. Going to make a habit of it, nice surprises on a Sunday morning.

Mikkeller and Kernel should have an IPA-off. Kernel for me. Drunk side-by-side with the amarillo version, which is dirtier.

Bottled 355ml. -from Za Popen’t Pivoteka, Ljubljana. Darker orange coloured, medium sized off-white head, fresh citrusy nose. Malty, jam like fruity and grapefruity hoppy taste with quite intensive bitterness in the finish and aftertaste.

Ipa profumatissima , ambrata, corpo pieno, amara al punto giusto, il citra e' un gran bel luppolo! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. 6.9%. Best before 20.03.15. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Good lacing. Strong, sweetish citrus aroma, a bit candy-like. Fat and fruity notes as it warms. Flavour is sweetish and a wee bit tart, with citrus hops and a light fat note. Bitter hop finish with a light alcohol burn and a lingering dryness. Overall pretty good with a nice hop profile. 09.06.13.

Keg at Mikkeller & Friends. Copper with thin white crown. Lots of juicy citrus, herbal notes, mandarin and sweet caramel in the aroma. Taste gives juicy citrus and light tropical fruit, very sweet caramel and some herbal notes. Bit too sweet and sticky for me. Decent flavour and good strong bitter whack, but not the right malt body to showcase how good Citra can be. The Kernel's Citra IPA is the perfect example of how to do it - no bloody sticky caramel!

Draught at Ørsted. Slight hazy orangey with a small white head. Aroma medium malty (caramel) and hoppy (citrusy), light spicy. Flavor medium sweet, heavy bitter, light spicy. Medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
