Pours a murky light brown/very dark yellow with ivory head that lingers. Hop aromas (citrus, tropical fruit) fill the room (more or less). Taste is similar - orange and grapefruit lead the way. Malt backbone is minimal, making it a little unbalanced. Lively carbonation. Very west coast. Bitter. Aroma is magnificent, taste and mouthfeel are a bit less ideal.

Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Hazy orange amber color. Sweet aroma with fresh herbal citrus peel. Bittersweet herbal-citrusy flavor with dank, toffee and biscuity maltiness. Slightly soapy. Smooth carbonation, full body. Good fresh IPA, slightly too heavy body.

Small glass from the draught menu at Lord Nelson. Decent off-white head with faint amount of lacing. Amber-orange body colour. Powerful fresh aroma of fresh citrus hops. The taste character follows the nose with mandarin oranges added by resin and pine. Long bitter tail. Enjoyable expression of an IPA (Copenhagen, 09.05.2012) (as rating no.5000).

Deep orange with an off-white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with malt, citrus and some caramel. Sweet and fruity with a nice bitterness. Medium body with pleasant carbonation. Very pleasant and refreshing IPA. Nice! (33cl bottle shared by Alexcg. Thanks!)

Was wondering about Citra hops. This is milder than I anticipated. Poured with a huge, billowy, foamy, frothy, fluffy, cream-colored head that lasts all the way down and plenty of lace. Color is a clear copper orange amber with lots of bubble trails. Aroma is so mild I can hardly sensey it - but ls malt, caramel, hop, citrus, hint pineapple and bare hint resin. Flavors like nose and likewise mild, fairly dry, perfectly proportionally balanced bitter and carbonic tang. Body and carbonation are spot on. Finish is like flavor, fairly short, and extremely drinkable.

Bottle from Purvis Cellars poured into a tulip glass. Thick luscious pillowy two finger head with good retention and lacing. Rich burned amber colour. Obviously citrus nose composed of refreshing lemon and orange with floral overtones. Rounded citrus taste with malt backbone and a smooth transition into a distinct sharp bitter finish. Average carbonation, beautiful creamy mouthfeel for an IPA.

On bottle, thanks Alexcg Golden. Slightly hazy, good foam. Medium body and high complexity. Distinct hops (piney) Very enjoyable

Draught. Creamy and high lasting off-white head. Hazy orange body. Hoppy grapefruit aroma and flavor with a low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2012 (Bottled)Vibrant nose rises in HD from the tulip...superb tangerine and apricot fumes . Really classy and vivid ; white/beige twin color above firery orange . I can see on my tounge waves of peppery alcohol holding hands with orange colored fruits doing their thing nicely .

Smells wheaty and grassy. Pours cloudy orange with sticky head. Thick palate of citrus, hops, grass, and slightly bitter. Like it but very different than your run of the mill IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
