Bottle. Pours a golden amber with some hazing. Smallish dense offwhite head which hangs in there for a while. Great hop aromas, pine resin and some light tropical fruits, balanced nicely by light caramel. Flavours are initially sweet before resiny hop bitterness takes over. Medium mouthfell. Good stuff.

33cl bottle from Beers of Europe. Drunk today. Pilsner, cara-crystal, munich and oat flakes. Clear amber-orange, with some small chunks of sediment suspended. Pours a huge, orange-white, pillowy head, with fair-sized, tasty bubbles, and excellent lacing, then persists well as a complete covering. Mid-light carb. Aroma - Sweeter citrus than the Centennial (lots more sweet, sticky orange, just a bit of pink grapefruit), but not quite as complex. Bready, caramel malt merges into the sweet citrus. Candy & orange peel. Some faint, spicy / funky & floral hop flower. Bit yeasty. Taste - Sweet citrus; juicy orange and sweeter red grapefruit, candy, orange peel & some bitter citrus oil. Potent, spicy / sticky hops. Biscuity, caramel, candy malt is kind of in the background, but this doesn’t lead to it being slightly unbalanced towards bitterness, as in the Centennial, because the hop flavours here are sweeter citrus aromas. Slightly yeasty. Sweet, juicy citrus & cara malt start turns into some slight, drier citrus flavours, then finishes with a bit of a light bitter, citrus tang (pink grapefruit). Some slight citrus flavours left on aftertaste, with very little bitterness, which is strange. Med body. Overall, a good showcase of the hop, but not an ideal IPA: Aroma & taste are a bit less complex and less interesting than the Centennial, but on the otherhand, the Citra seems to have a better balance, as well as some interesting, strong orange flavours, though these can be a bit sickly at times.

Tap @ bishops folkunga.
Thick hazy amber orange with a short creme white head that lace nicely.
Big pungent tropical aroma with mango, peach, passionfruit, grapefruit, blood orange and some pineapple. Pine an some resin. Reminds me of Grassroots Neithers huge juicy aroma.
Taste is as promised very fruity and tropical juicy. Just withouth getting pungent and theres some caramel in the back. Not too bitter at all, and the mouthfill is pretty big, or bigger than medium, with soft mushy carbonation, but theres some pretty big watery notes in it too. Too bad.

Pours yellow amber with medium, thick white head. Aroma is very much citra: floral, pine, some resin. Taste is very bitter and enjoyable, although with a slightly abrupt finish. Mouthfeel starts out thick and creamy then drops to a fairly light finish. Very drinkable!

Bottle. Cloudy deep orange amber color with a big, off-white head. The nose is bright, big. Orange peel, mango, guava, more citrus flavors. A bit cheesy. The taste is mellow, sweet and fruity transition to a nice bitter finish. The body’ medium, active carbonation. Very drinkable indeed. Overall, this hop is a particular favorite of mine in terms of aroma, so I was pleased that this turned out nicely.
