Tap @ Flandes. Clear dark orange colour, large off-white head. Nose is full tropical fruits, mango. Flavour is mango, tropical fruits, bit of caramel, malty. Medium bitterness. Finish is dry, bitter, fruity. Excellent.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a slightly hazy dark orange with eggshell lacing. Smells like a malt bomb with aged Nelson hops. Tastes like it smells, but not as cloying. Average on the palate. A underwhelming IPA.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2014 Bottle from Bottledog. Colour is clear rusty orange with an enormous off white to beige foam head. Nose is new nylon sneakers, earthy, rain-on-tarmac, caramel malt, pine, grapefruit. Taste is bording on that bug spray/new nylon sneakers weird flavour that IPAs sometimes get. Also a bit caramel malty, which is not my favourite.

330 mml bottle tasted on 16/05/2014. Nice hazy orange colour with white head. The taste is sweet for an I.P.A. and very balanced with predominance of hops. Carbonation is Ok. Light and easy to drink I.P.A. with low alchol average. Next one please!

Very sweet IPA beer... White head. As always, hoppy aftertaste Aroma: a lot of fruits - peach, mango, raisins, very sweet smell, but the taste is not ballanced with aroma - didn’t impressed me. Nice beer.

Saeglopur (634) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - MAY 13, 2014
Bottle from AmmersinO, Vienna. Amber, slightly hazy body, with a big, frothy, white head, that leaves a ring-shaped lacing. Aroma of citrus, orange, candy, grass, white grapes, some herbs. Tastes of lemon zest, grass, candy, white wine, with a pretty strong bitterness soon kicking in. Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a medium carbonation and it finishes bitter, dry, with lemon zest and grass notes. Nice one. A bit too less fruity for my liking and the bitterness is a bit too dominant. The Nelson Sauvin notes are nice and well balanced.

Bottle pours an amber color with a thick foamy white head. Smells hop and grapefruit. Taste is very bitter with a sweet balance of the malt at the end. Medium body. Really great beer.

11.2 oz bottle.late December 2010. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. The aroma and flavor has orange citrus, sweet caramel and doughy malts, earthy hops, with herbal notes. Light/medium bodied with a moderate bitterness to the finish. A little better than many of these, maybe it was just fresher.

Hazed golden orange, eggshell white head leaves lasting ring. Big earthy vinious burnt grapefruit and berry Nelson nose. Initial taste is softer than I expected, juicy peach/pear sweetness before an engorged berry bitterness. This swing just adds to the quench. Firm carbonation does the job. Finish is a clean stamp of passionfruit before a cooling grapefruit linger. Fuck the ABV, fuck the fact this is probably been in the fridge for six months. Tremendous Nelson party.

Marstonlad (518) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 30, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2014 Tap at Ölhus Stockholm, Helsinki. Pours amber with a medium-sized head that leaves lacing. Aroma of strong exotic fruitiness, floral notes, currant and berries - rich and hoppy, in an original way. Taste is crisp, rich and very fruity. Bitterness is moderate to heavy but not brutal, the balance is excellent. The palate is medium bodied and slick. Very rich and very drinkable IPA.
