Pros: Excellent look. Naturally carbonated. Nose has some serious hop power with the Nelson Sauvin showing its mandarin orange and tangerine character. It takes on more of a peach character on the palate. Not a very floral or piney hop to me, but quite fruity. Nice expression of the hop. Fun to taste.

Cons: While it is unquestionably well brewed, I don’t like the hop, at least as the sole element in the beer. The fruitiness of the hop became overbearing for my palate, but it’s cool to know that hops can get this fruity.

33cl bottle @ Kitty’s. Deep amber, thick white head. Pine, herbs, wood and some dark fruits in aroma. Flavor has pine, wood, grapefruit, strawberries. Herbal, very bitter and dry finish. Refreshing. Medium bodied. Enjoyable for sure, but get quite heavy as it warms up.

Shared a 33cl bottle. Pours a clear orangish golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is mango, pine, grapefruit and peach... Hops all over the place. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is bitter with a lot of fruity sweet notes. Overall, a great IPA.

Draft into taster - nose is akin to cat urine. Sip adds a thought experiment. In other words, I like the single direction of this hop. A little flat. A little sweet for an IPA. Decent.

Tap @ Flandes. Clear dark orange colour, large off-white head. Nose is full tropical fruits, mango. Flavour is mango, tropical fruits, bit of caramel, malty. Medium bitterness. Finish is dry, bitter, fruity. Excellent.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a slightly hazy dark orange with eggshell lacing. Smells like a malt bomb with aged Nelson hops. Tastes like it smells, but not as cloying. Average on the palate. A underwhelming IPA.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2014 Bottle from Bottledog. Colour is clear rusty orange with an enormous off white to beige foam head. Nose is new nylon sneakers, earthy, rain-on-tarmac, caramel malt, pine, grapefruit. Taste is bording on that bug spray/new nylon sneakers weird flavour that IPAs sometimes get. Also a bit caramel malty, which is not my favourite.
