Super fresh bottle @ Mikkeller Viktoriagade. Medium amber with a small head. The nose is vibrant cats piss, musty lemon rind, earthy funk. A bit of tropical grapefruit. The taste is more of the same. More grapefruit citrus, funky tropical fruit salad tang. Pissy funk. Light yeast. Somewhat bitter on the finish. Fresh, vibrant body. Overall, excellent. Quite enjoyable.

Slightly hazy copper with a large head. Aroma and taste of hops, pine, grape, malt and resin. Oily and refreshing, a nice one!

[5/2/13] Draught at Mikkeler & Friends in Copenhagen. Amber with an off-white head. Nice aroma of overripe tropical fruits. Flavor has light fruity sweetness and pleasant fruity hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. Very good stuff.

33cl bottle from Probus Wines, Dublin. Light amber pour with decent white-ish head. Aroma is intense and pungent: pure Nelson-trademark pissyness (in a good way) with loads of dank overripe mango, citrus, and very sweet pineapple. Taste gives plenty of mango, citrus, peach and that same nelsony pissy note that is weirdly moreish and delicious. Bit of sweet caramel in there too. Decent bitterness and lingering sweet tropical juice in the aftertaste. A really full-on single hop affair...if Nelson ain't your thing then stay well clear of this one!

Pours a deep opaque copper with a huge, lasting eggshell white head. Nose is a perfume of piney, resiny, grassy Nelson Sauvin hops along with some ripe grapefruit, smells out of this world. Quite sweet in the body, hops take an age to hit but when they do its a big bittersweet tart bitterness, backed by a fruity caramel malt. Big bodied, quite thick, slick, oily resin mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Finish is glorious, all pine, grapefruit and hop bitterness. Makes me miss New Zealand.

11.2oz bottle. Pours a copper orange color with thick off white head. Aroma of big fruity hops with some caramel malt backbone. Taste has notes of mild citrus flavors including lemon, with white wine like qualities. Maybe a hint of toffee from the malt, and a pretty bitter finish.
