Jan 2, 2010 Large tan head with very good retention and nice lace. Hazy orange color. Nose of citrus, light bready notes, earthy. Medium bodied, a little over carbonated for my tastes. Lightly oily and resiny on the palate. Spicey hop flavors up front, a touch peppery and grassy, straw with a light caramel malt backing, grainy. Light fruitiness, peachs and vinous notes. Dry, earthy fruity finish. Interesting. Bottle procured @statelineliquors.

Jan 2, 2010 Bottle. Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, apricot, grass. Flavour is sweet, hop, grass, grapefruit, apricot. Medium body. Nice beer, but a little bit extreme.

Jan 1, 2010 Bottle. Pours a cloudy dirty orange with a super thick off-white head. Aroma of light sweet fruits and caramel malt. Flavor of sweet caramel malt (with some odd salty vegetal notes too) and a touch of light citrusy hops in the finish. Overall a decent IPA but not one of my favorites of the single hop series.

Dec 31, 2009 Bottle. A clear, copper-orange beer with a small, beige head on top. Apricots, dried I think, grapefruit, grass and some sweetish notes in the aroma. Some alcohol too, but just a faint note. The flavor continues what the aroma started, adding some sweetness even though it feels rather dry in the mouth. Good bitterness in the finish. Medium to full body, nice level of carbonation. A nice beer, but it might be challenging drinking much of it. 090925

Dec 25, 2009 Sampled on 12/12/2009. This IPA pours a medium to deep orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. Large sized white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is grapey, woody, fruity and malty. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and grapelike. I still don’t have a grasp on this hop. I like it, but I am having trouble finding good descriptors. Its kind of floral and fruity, with some grape/wine like qualities. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Dec 13, 2009 11.2oz bottle from Holiday Wine Cellars. Pours cloudy amber with a medium sized, creamy white head and good lace. Smells musty and pungent with a bot of floral hops. Tastes sweet and fruity hoppy, pungent and earthy as well. A little too musty for my liking. Medium body, vibrant carbonation.
