3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Medium to full bodied. Nice smooth mouth feel and great carbonation. The head is very nice and foamy. Awesome lacing on the glass. Gold amber color. I can smell the hops on the nose and the sweetness as well. They seem to use just the right amount of nugget hops and this beer is a great tribute to that hop. I taste sweet light citrus notes, hints of pear and grapefruit along with the malt in the background. Nice beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy middling light copper color, small, tight head with lots of large bubbles that lasts really well. Odd aroma- spicy sharp notes, some resinous stickyness, oranges, and some light bready sweetness. Interesting nose. Flavor starts sharp and spicy bitterness, moving into a rather complex hop profile; piney, resinous earthiness, some thick chewy citrus notes of lemons and oranges, and some light flowery bits. Minimal amounts of sweetness that shows up briefly here and there, but gets drowned out by the hops. Flavor follows the nose- interesting, but a bit all over the place. Palate is crisp and sharp, even carbonation, some light lingering bitterness. Overall, another good entry in this single-hop series, though more "interesting" than downright good.

Bottled. Pours hazy, dark amber with a lasting off-white head and good lacing. Taste starts bitter and palate has medium to light body, fizzy carbonation and a bitter finish. Aromas have fruity hops and pine with light spices.

Pours an amber/orange color with a beautiful off white pillowy head that is still here halfay through the beer!Nose is piney and citrus with a very distinct hoppy smell.Taste is slightly sweet and bitter. Not much on the palate as far as complexity just slightly bitter.I would love to taste all these single hop variety beers together and I think I will this summer.Good IPA...not great but good.

Smell is amazing - beautifully aromatic that hits at delights to come. Unfortunately taste is a bit of a let down given the nose. Still very enjoyable but doesn’t quite get there.

Bottle. Nice orange color with big head. Aroma is fruity (pineapple, peach, etc.) and fresh with a nice hoppy touch. Flavor is also fruity with dry hops as a great balancing force. Very nice IPA.

A rather good IPA but not one to turn over my world as I know it. Bitter, of course, and very smooth, but not as special as some of the other beers by this brewery.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a bright and hazy amber orange with a very big, super sticky, and clingy head. This beer has some pretty amazing head retention. Has a very interesting citrus, orange-grapefruit thing going on in the nose. Moderate bitterness, light for the style, the beer almost comes across as sweet with the first taste. Taste follows the nose, with a caramel sweetness chased by bitter orange rinds. There’s an underlying character of spruce and freshly mown grass that isn’t unpleasant for the style. The malt bill stands up in this beer, though it moves away from the strong notes as in others and moves more towards the spiced (think rye bread) realm. This beer reminds me of similar IPAs which use Cascade or Amarillo for hopping. I’ve had several of these now (unfortunately not all in the same evening) but this stands out a bit more.
