3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 willblake (2627) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - NOV 14, 200920091114 11.2oz bottle from State Line. Orange colored with tall, frothy, lasting beige head. Beautiful aromas of orange blossom, pineapple, mixed herbs, softly malty with cookie dough notes. Body is medium light, even eff, late but impressive bitterness is potent but quick. Flavors are mildly fruity with lots of grassy and herbal notes, more light cookie dough, lingering astringency. One of the more successful single hop beers I’ve tried.

330ml bottle from Warners at the Bay Bottle Shop. Pours a deep golden amber with a soft beige head that collapses quickly. Strong hop aroma and flavour with a big hop finish, full bodied in the mouth.

33cl bottle. Hazy orange colour, slightly red, with a white-yellowish head. Some sediment presence. Toffee aroma blended with licorice, quite intense. Smoky bitterness concerning taste, earth, sugar, and hints of herbs (subtle). Mouthfeel is moderate creamy, good carbonation. Pleasant.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 laiti (4016) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 2, 2013
33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 12.12.2009
Aroma has fruity hops, some gooseberry bush, hints of nettles and biscuits. Flavour has gooseberry bush, some fruits, nettles and caramel. A bit straightforward like single hops usually, but nice stuff still.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 wlajwl (2986) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Aroma is citrus, pine, earthy malts and a hint of sweetness. The flavor is earthy malts, citrus, underlying sweetness and a mix of smooth and tangy in the finish.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JEK69 (374) - FRANCE - JAN 13, 2013
This pours hazy amber, with medium off-white foam head. This beer was brewed in 2011, so is not bitter nor hop-aromatic anymore. Because of Dranken Geers: huge beer shop but not serious for the shelflives! More than 3-4 months for a single hop IPA is a non-sense. All the identity and typicity of the beer is in its hop variety. Hop flavours and bitterness decrease really quickly. It smells old ale with some remaining hop notes. But nothing really distinctive.
Too bad, I’ll tatse it another time.
Cheers
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bathory (361) - Bryne, NORWAY - NOV 29, 2012
The aroma are very caramel and raisin oriented. This also comes a lot through in the flavour with some melon and peach maybe. A got hop for this beer in my opinion, but maybe it’s a bit off-balanced.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jsmerig (804) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 24, 2012
Pours a reddish amber. Huge frothy head. Aroma is sour. Taste is mildly malty with a sharp bitterness. The sour doesn't come through interesting.

OK IPA. Fortfarande är magnum favoriten i single hop serien. Ganska måttligt humlad.
