[EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Small foamy white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Hazy brown color. Aroma of heavy bitter floral notes with a mix of fruity apricot and grapefruit, citrus and pineapple. Over the palate came good counter sweetness from the caramel, toasted malt. Almost full bodied with a soft carbonation and heavy dry texture. Strong bitter flavor with some counter sweetness. Oily and at the same time very dry fruity/floral bitter finish.

Keep ’em commin. This kind of beer i just love. Perfect blend of malts and the quite raw simcoe hop. Keep ’em commin...

Tap @ EBF 2008. Brown color, cloudy. Abundant aroma of tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit and red berries. Hopoil. Oily, very hoppy flavor with loads of fruit. Long oily hopbitter aftertaste with plastic. Just within the limits of the enjoyable.

Draught at EBF 2008. Hazy mahogny, medium off-white head. Caramelly and hopy aroma, with notes of dark berries, and lemon. Medium to heavy body, sof carbonation. Perfectly balanced, long bitter finish. Excellent.

omhper (23483) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 15, 2008
Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Hazy brown. Intense perfumy piney nose. Sweetish and full bodied with ridiculous amounts of hops. Inky and orangey together with licorice. The bitterness grows to the proportions of a category-5 hop hurricane. Unbalanced, but that is no doubt the point with it.

EBF2008, aroma is hoppy to the point of being acid. oily dark brown/orange look, not much head, flavor is hoppy, citrus, hoppy hoppy, overall : i never thought i’d one day say too much hoppiness, but this is the day. sort of unbalanced.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a diminished white head. Baking yeasty and dense hoppy aroma. Flavour to is quite yeasty although with an extremely dominant hoppy simcoe flavour and bitterness. Bone dry and hoppy burning finish. But something went wrong with the yeast in this one.
