Firm golden, decent cap of head. Mandarin and pineapple nose, steep sweet maltiness. Initial taste is marmaladey juicy, playful sweet mango and clementine. Stringently bitter, fleshy sweetness. Carbonation is rock solid, nice and clean. Kicks of polished passion fruit, lingering marmalade sweetness again.

MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: citrus, nice bitterness, lots of grapefruit, very fruity, some caramel malts.

Aroma is pine, dank (Simcoe) hops and fresh yeast. The flavor is hops, tropical fruit, grapefruit pine needles, malts and a very bitter finish. Definitely looking forward to when Mikkeller gets the old Alesmith brewery, their fresh IPAs made in the U.S. are awesome.

Very dry pine aroma and flavor, a very good American style IPA that stands up to examples of the style in this country.

Del superbo Mikkeller, questa ipa ambrata con poca schiuma è davvero eccezionale. equilibratissima, luppolata senza sfociare nell’amarezza eccessiva che a me non piace, intensi ma controllati sapori e aromi erbacei. Assolutamente pollice in su.

Keg at BD Shep Bush. Super fresh and super tasty. Oddly malty for a mikkeller ipa but the fruit just rides it out and keeps on ridin’. Grapefruits on holiday in the tropics with tangerine jousting with marmalade. Top.

Keg at Brewdog in Shepherd’s Bush, London. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, grapefruit, pine, caramel aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, pine, grapefruit, caramel, slightly dry and bitter. A quality IPA.
