3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
11.2 oz. bottle. Date on the cap: 16/12/11. A deep copper pour with a thick and fluffy antique white head that leaves rings of lacing down the side of the glass. A maltier aroma than the other beers Iíve had in the single hop series thus far. Caramel, grapefruits, lemon zest, and faint cardboard scents in the mix. Solidly medium-bodied. Fuller, and much more well-balanced than the other beers in this series. More complex too. Smooth caramel upfront taste-wise. A bit of a grainy biscuitiness in the middle. Drying grapefruits and citrus rinds follow. A spicy finish with some pepper.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz can. Pours deep gold, white head. Aroma is dank malt, sweet caramel, nothing special. Flavor is grassy and piney hop, dominating the flavor... No citrus. Frankly weak beer.

Dark amber with a thick white head. Malty caramel smell with little hop aroma. Well balanced between earthy, grassy hops & toffee malts. An easy drinking IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Plonk. Single hop IPA - simcoe, aroma is earthy, woody citrus hop. Moderate bitterness, not so bitter for an IPA, and it works well. Bitterness is clean, not harsh, and doesnít linger too long. Nice IPA and displays the simcoe well.

12oz can pours a cloudy golden with a large white head that stays for a while. Nose of light hop aromas with a bit of sweetness. Taste is pretty bitter and piney with some grapefruit flavor, has a burnt caramel malt that comes strong on the end. Itís okay nothing too extraordinary

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is an intensely hopped pale. Very bitter, hoppy and piney. No citrus in this one at all. Very bitter hoppy finish with a strong pale malt back bone. Had at home out of a can.
