From tap. Pours slight cloudy orange with a fully diminished white head. Distinct citrusy and sight spiced hopy aroma. Bitter ad dry flavoured. Bone dry hoppy really. Dry and citric to orange fruity finish. Very dry brew with a solid citrusy hops presence.

[A small in-between celebration for a number freak - this is my rating number 5555 - so I celebrate it with another great brew from Mikkeller] A very red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of grapefruit, and some grass, but also a slight dusty note. The flavor is sweet with some notes of caramel, which is very soon overpowered by the hops, which from the start is very bitter with sharp notes of grapefruit with all the acidity of the grapefruit.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2009 (Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy, dark amber with a gigantic, dense and lasting, beige head - sorta shaving foam style. Fat and greasy aroma hops in the nose. Quite a full body with a solid base of caramel malt. Dry - almost leathery - notes of the Simcoe leaving a dry but not overly bitter finish. 010207

Strangely, it’s very cloudy; amber color with generous whipped cream head. The aroma is spectacular, the hop is very fruity: passion fruit, mango, oranges, and even light banana; there is a gentle touch of pine needles. The body is reasonably bold, the mouthfeel is soft; good flavor of toffee and caramel, with some residual sweetness; the hop mainly gives a piney touch now. Pleasure.

2009-07-30, bottle at På Besök, Malmö, 8-5-7-3-15=38
Hazy amber color. The aroma is not only fruity, but also earthy, almost manure. The flavor is affected too much by the yeast, the final too, and therefore a bit harsh.

2008-12-12, bottle, 9-4-7-5-16=41
Cloudy amber color; creamy head. Very strong aroma, pigfarm, manure, then citrus fruits. Medium body, dry toffee, powerful hopping, very aromatic. Extreme but very good.

2008-10-24, draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 8-4-7-5-15=39
Cloudy light color. Strong sweat hop aroma, hop pellets, citrusy. The body is not strong, some toffee, with powerful hopping and strong bitterness.
