(11.2oz bottle) Murky orange body with a towering off-white, stiff head; leaves a web of bubbly lace on the glass. The hoppy aroma smells like a delicious grapefruit; notes of orange, pine, some grass; citrus peel; sweet malt underlying the hops. There’s also some kind of floral, almost rose aroma happening too. Couldn’t wait to taste it. Medium bodied, not much carbonation; oily texture. Flavor is low-profile at first, some mild sweetness, definite caramel. But then the citrus hop flavor opens up. Very clean, clear hop character--perhaps from having only a single hop? The caramel malt returns in the aftertaste to mingle with the hops.

Bottle from Loglog, Bratislava. Amber color with thick persistent off-white head. Strong citrus hoppy aroma with resin in background. Taste, solid malty base overlapped by nice portion of aromatic hops with grapefruit, oranges, passion fruit, earthy notes, resin. Long aromatic hoppy bitter finish. Very tasty beer.

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange, nice carb, two finger beige head, great structure on top. Aroma is fresh, citrus, piney and notable malt sweetness. Some ripe fruits. Taste is clean, light sweet and long pleasant aftertaste. Mouth is medium to big and leaves the mouth dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Beer Temple (taster size). Orange hazy color. Big off white head. Aroma: nice big citrus, citrus peel, light malty sweetness. Additionally hop bitterness retronasal. Flavor is moedrate bitter with a light malty sweet backbone. Medium bodied. Finishes with a nice herbal (moderate) bitter flavor, not harsh. Nice.

Bärnstensfärgad öl med fluffigt vitt skum. Doft av tallbarr och gräs men även viss fruktighet. Fruktigheten något större i smaken med en bra bitterhet som avslutning.

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Aroma is tropical fruits and fresh hops. Pours quite a dark orange. Flavour is herbal, tropical, taste freshly hopped and has a long lasting bitterness. In fact I didn’t expect this to be so bitter. I think this might be my favorite of the single hop series. Delicious

Bottle poured into snifter, solid fingertip head with fantastic lacing as you go. Aroma is of citrus and amazing! Mouthfeel is creamy.. As if it was poured from a nitro tap. Flavor is initially citrus with some pine and a decent amount of malt. This is truly one of the best IPAs I’ve ever had. I’d drink it for breakfast everyday if I could. Delightful and well-balanced!

Fantastic IPA by Mikkeller. Simcoe as it’s best. Typical piney, grasy aroma and taste. Those herbal sour bitter notes come perfectly with sweet base. Aroma and taste is fresh and fruity. Very drinkable. Full body.

Draught. Strong white head. Nice hoppy aroma - resiny and piny. Taste: notes of sweet honey, piny and I feel here also nice hints of contra sourness. Brilliant long lasting bitterness (wow!). Full body, flat carbonation. Higher temp makes it better and better.
