Aroma: Strong citrus, pine
Taste: Tons of citrus and grapefruit all the way through and stays with you at the finish
Wow, this is probably the best IPA I’ve had. Simcoe is my favorite hop and this beer showcases it. My next homebrew I’m going us simcoe all the way through and hope to get close to this. NoiZe (1392), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands

Cloudy amber with a thick yellow-beige head. Nice pine and grass aroma. Delicious balanced flavor that was not grapefruity, but rather had dominant notes of pineapple and oranges. thornecb (1822), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Cloudy orange, long lasting large off-white head, excellent lacing.
Aroma is of, well, lots of Simcoe hops, oranges and grapefruits, pine with some light alcohol.
Flavour is nicly hopped, lots of citrus and pine, chewy with a moderate bitterness.
Hoppy mouth, med body, med/high carb.
Finishes very long and Hoppy.
Just when you think that this will finish quick and watery, a huge hoppy bitterness takes over. An excellent IPA.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 18, 2009 Bottle:   Pale orangish amber in color, large frothy off-white head, spotty lacing, tangy citrus zest on the nose.   Nice combination of citrusy bitterness on the tongue.   Feels livley, bubbley, like champagne.   This one I would sun up as being very tangy.   Sweet bitterness on the finish.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Sweet citrusy finish, moderate malt body.   Not overly bitter.   This one was real pleasent, great IPA.   Simple, clean, flavorful, and a joy to drink.   Not light, not heavy, just solid.
