bottle from a friend - nice change of pace IPA - ,maltier than usual but lots of pine and soap (my most accurate deScriptor of sorachi ace hops). Moderately bitter.

33cl bottle at home from de Bierbrigadier, Eindhoven. Body is opalescent amber, head is very big, beige, rocky, mostly lasting, good lacing. Nose is candy sweets, floral, glue, flavor is honey, tropical fruits, peach, dill, grass. Medium sweet, light bitter, light fruity sour. Finish is long lasting hoppy medium to heavy bitters, slightly salty. Medium body, dry texture, lively carbonation. Easy, tasty, great one.

Mörkt bärnstensfärgad med stort vit skum. Doftar och smakar faktiskt ganska mycket kokos! ? Ok beska men lite för maltig

dark orange color with very big off-white head, mould cheese smell, little alcohol aroma, light sweetness, medium bitterness, cheesy taste, creamy oily texture, lively carbonation, long bitter finish - very strange beer

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Dark amber color with beige head. Aroma has some caramel and something I cannot really describe, herbal/medicianl/liquorice/root beer. Taste follows with the same notes, slightly sweet at first but gets more bitter towards the finish. Soft body and carbonation. It’s more like an amber ale but it doesn’t really matter as long as it’s tasty.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2015 Bottle bbe 12.02.17. Orange beer with a nice off white head. Aroma is dominated by coconut, pine and malty sweetness. Taste is hoppy with coconut, caramel and pine, medium bitterness. Very nice IPA that is pretty special in aroma and taste thanks to the Sorachi Ace hops, could be a little bit more bitter. A great relief from the majority of citrus flavour dominated IPAs.

Bottle at home, during a IPA testing evening. Pours hazy amber with small but thick, diminishing, creamy/fizzy off-white head. Medium bodied with oily mouthfeel, average carbonation, bitter finish. Aromas are not that intense, but they are very hoppy, fruity and spicy. Orange peel, something slightly smoky on the nose (probably roasty malt), resin touch, citrus, pine. Seriously, what came in my mind was a scene in a cottage house, into the forest, with a fireplace, surrounded by pine trees absorbed by divine silence, dunno why. Tongue+ nose: lemon, pine, bubble gum (significant for sorachi ace hop), hints of lemon, zesty, candy sweetness. Average carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, bitter and dry finish, long lasting aftertaste with some spicy hints like white pepper giving the ale some very interesting and twisted character. I’m glad that I included this baby in my IPA test drive. Thumbs up!

33cl bottle at home. Somewhat hazy amber with a full slightly off-white soapy head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium bitterness with subtle fruity sweetness. Pine, grass, hops, malts, caramel and herbs. Always love the sorachi hops, so love this brew as well.
