Lore (1061) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 22, 2013
hazy brownisg amber colour, huge long lasting slightly yellowish off-white head; aroma of grass, some citruss and malty sweetness; taste of citrussy-grassy hoppy bitterness with some strange disturbing metallic-bitter taint - like an overmatured french cheese, or a tablet of penicillin; not my favourite from the single hop series of Mikkeller.

12,11,11,11,8,11 - 10,95 - 18/9

TAP at Delirium Brussels, shared with Mathieu87. APPEARANCE: dark blond clouded beer, stable off white head. NOSE: little earthy, apples, grains, alcohol, some strawberries. TASTE: not so balanced, bitter aftertaste, earthy, dry, not really good.

suurjuust (1053) - ESTONIA - SEP 16, 2013
Hazy orange, medium white head. Nose is toasty malt, caramel hint, lots of fruit - mango, peaches, grapefruit, hoppy tones. Taste is biscuity malts, fairly crisp hop bitterness with more very fruity-herbal-strawberry-mango notes in the dry and medium bitter finish. Medium body, smooth carbonation, oily palate. Very drinkable, balanced, but this hop is probably not for me.

Bottle@Voldby Ølmesse - Orange pour with a small white head. Malty caramel, light hoppy notes, herbal and floral nuances, very new hop taste to me, strange at first but think I will try another when i get a chance for a re-rate. (D10)

Beese (1783) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2013
Bottle from Five Points Brewery, Hackney. Poured a clear dull brown colour with a halo of tan head. Floral aroma with hints of lavender, coconut and parma violets. Flavours of biscuit, lemon sherbet and a bubblegum hint. Leaves with pine, almond and a slight note of iodine. Odd beer, not sure Sorachi Ace works in the confines of IPA...

Amazing looking beer appears to be frozen in time with jelly look and looks like pieces of fruit. Sweet and bitter towards end. Thick white foam that stayed for a long time

It smells pleasantly like peach, apricot or maybe of some citrus fruit in addition to floral hops and spruce -- very enjoyable. It appears beautiful amber, sparkling and with a white head. The taste consists of medium sweetness and medium bitterness. It has a medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, bitter. I miss something in the taste besides of bitterness.
