3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at London Craft Beer Festival 2013. Pours a hazy orange caramel colour. Lots of caramel in the aroma with some lemon citrus. Medium body. Its fairly dry, a bit woody, with grapefruit and caramel. Nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
golden hazy with quite big white foam; hoppy aroma (fruits maybe pine?); heavy bitterness, very lightly sweet, full body, oily/thick feel, average carbonation, long bitter finish;
Overall: yet another very good IPA

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
LCBF. Just had a sample of this one, as I was very drunk at this point. Orange brown, no real head. Smell and taste gave the same impression - syrupy hops, orange and caramel. Nothing too intense - all a bit toned down. Nice enough. Body is medium, carbonation low.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Burp Castle, NYC. Pours a cloudy orange-light brown with thick head in a snifter. Fluffy white head lasted and created some great lacing. The aroma was pine, resin, citrus, malts and yeast. The taste was nice with the pine hitting first followed by the well balanced malts mellowing out the bitterness. Then the finish comes and the bitter comes back with a hint of citrus. Medium body. Very nice.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
A bottle drunk at a Single Hop IPA tasting I organized. The Summit IPA had a pine and musty aroma with a decent clean bitterness. I liked it on it’s own but was a bit one dimensional.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Asahiya. Solid malty nose with piney hops, rounded and full. Dark amber color, beige head. Sweet malty initial, very thick / good balance in mid / final brings up the hops in a gentle manner. Medium body. Seems too rich and full for an IPA. More like a baby barley wine. Very smooth and tasty.
