Deep orange with diminishing off white head. Lots of citrus (lime and grapefruit) and resin in the aroma. Lots of grapefruity bitterness. Interesting.

Blind tasting at The Penguin. Orange gold with a flat, speckling white top. Sweet nose: wine gum, blackcurrant, lychee, strawberries and liquorice; husk and alcohol as the head subsides. Lean, stripped bitterness with blackcurrant and aniseed impressions and more husky malt backdrop than the previous beers. Floral, a little harsh, soapy. Decent.

On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Near-murky deep orange body, big light beige retention. Aroma is strawberry, lime and hints of grass. Taste is nougat, followed by some weird phenolic boozy tones, hints of chocolate and bitter grass. This one is just weird.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2012 Bottle. Dark Golden clear. One finger foam. Floral rubber tire aromas. Tasty with a very fullbody bitterness. Despite the bitterness I like the blend of this brew. One of the better singel hops. Second tasting gave me the rubber experience decline to a 2.9

330 ml bottle. Copenhagen, Denmark.
Cloudy dark amber colour with average size light tan head. Aroma is hoppy with floral and fruity elements. No bitterness. Flavour is surprisingly malty with good amount of hoppiness. Kind of dark hoppiness with fruits, resin and grapefruit. Moderate bitterness. Summit seems to be quite average hop what it comes to flavours and bitterness. Drinkable and quite tasty as well but I know lots of more delicious and tasty hops.

From a bottle poured a copper color with a fair amount of head. Bitter citrusy hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

On tap @ Henrik. This one pours dark hazy copper-ish body with a small light beige - almost creamy head. Nice light melon-yeasty-fruity, hoppy and mild-sweet on aroma. Hints of both caramel and toffee in the flavor on this one and it has a a good solid bitterness in this. All the way. Quite comfortable in the mouth with a near silky texture and it’s average carbonated. Yeah, this was a nice one! 15.03.2012
