Mikkeller Summit Single Hop IPA gives a lot of taste and smell wonderfully fruity. Also, there is a fantastic aftertaste the rarely tasted. I recommend this highly!

12 oz. bottle, pours a murky dark orange with a big beige head. Aroma of earth, dity, caramel malt, biscuit, mandarin oranges and grapefruit - quite dank. Flavour of mandarins, grapefruits and citrusy hops above anything. Finishes on notes of grapefruit and citrus. Nice dry caramel malt backbone. Very good.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a large off-white head. Bright grapefruit aroma with peach, white grapes, some pine and light caramel. Taste has caramel sweetness and some peach with - again - bright citrus flavours cutting through. Resinous bitter finish. Plainish but crisp and refreshing. Not that interesting a hop, but meshes well with the base. Thought Id get tired of these quickly but they continue to be interesting.

Bottle, at Patricks. A lightly unclear beer, golden-orange in color and with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is citrusy and malty, almost oxidised but most likely crystal malt. Dried apricots, citrus peel and some resins. The flavor has a pleasant bitterness and else the same elements found in the aroma. Medium to full body with pleasant carbonation. Bitter finish with nice sweetness. Overall, a quite nice one, although a bit on the malty side. 120715

33cl bottle at Amundsen. Dark orange colour with a big creamy white head. Aroma as well as flavour is subtle. Faint hints of hops and sweet malts. Flavor is thankfully more noticable. Notes of hops balanced with malts. Sweet. Lingering bitterness from the hops.
