COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Tomahawk is a great American hop variety, high alpha acid content and plenty of floral impression. This Single Hop IPA is a very powerful fellow who will probably scare off more people than he amuses but for a true hop head looking for a bitter experience this is nothing less than heavenly.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (tomahawk) and yeast.

Orange-amber color with a slight chill haze. Huge, foamy head; recedes with a rocky dome. Leaves ample ring lace all the way down to the base of the glass. Strong grapefruit hop aroma. There’s a touch of pine as well. Light malt in the background. Bitter, but very dry. Leaves a very long hop-sucking flavor long after the swallow. Moderate body, good carbonation. Definitely a hop lovers beer, though not complex. Easy to drink IPA.

Bottle from Kaohsiung Pizza My Heart (so might be quite old), drank in Kenting. Smells of yeasty but quite bitter hops with a touch of florals and fruit. Taste is quite faint, bitter hop without much else. Body is watery but foamy. Had this with the Mikkeller Single Hop Amarillo and liked this a bit less than that.

HKdIPA (129) - HONG KONG - APR 20, 2014
Bottle from Kaohsiung HSR station. Citrus fruity aroma with a bit of grass. Taste is a bit pilsner-sharp, doesn't let the characteristics of the hop through as much as the other mikkeller single hop series. Flavor is a apricot, fruity. Bitter dry finish. Not bad, but not as good as other single hop series.

Clear amber, frothy offwhite head, a little lacing. Nice fruity, hoppy aroma, peaches and pineapple. Taste is pineapple with a subtle bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy, aftertaste is a little sweet and sour. All in all very drinkable.

Pours a pretty clear amber-copper with a massive off white head that slowly settles down a bit and leaves tons of lace all the way up the glass. Aroma is floral, some fruity notes, light citrus, mild sweetness, a touch of caramel and biscuits. Taste is a big(slightly harsh) bitterness, citrus, floral, zesty, spicy, biscuits, and caramel. Pretty tasty, don’t have a lot of experience with this hop but I do like it.

Pours a clear dark amber with a ruby cast. Very nice head with excellent lacing. Nose of floral hops over a light biscuit. Light medium body with normal carbonation. Nice flavor profile that is slightly hop forward over biscuit with some caramel in the background. The finish is clean with a residual alcohol note.

Pours a darker yellow/orange. Hoppy, sweeter aroma with hints of caramel. More caramel and sweetness in the taste, but dominated by a citrus hop flavour. Aftertaste is smooth with some grassy notes and hops.

Bottle. Light hazy orange with a thick good lacing foamy off white head. Aroma is pinewood, citrus, fruit, caramel, biscuit. Taste is medium sweet and bitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Light bitter and dry finish with lingering hop notes. Ok, but a bit boring as single hop.
