Pours a cloudy amber with a medium beige lasting head with good lacing. ( Bottle dated 10/12/10 ) Aroma of yeast, dark fruit and caramel malt. Taste is sweet caramel malt, Belgian yeast, some bready notes, caramel malt with hops bitterness on the end for balance. a medium body, smooth with moderate carbonation. This brew is more on the malty side for an IPA, seems to be bottle conditioned as well. Still a good flavorful brew.

Tap @ the taphouse. Enjoyed the beer but the aroma was just a little down on a top class ipa. Always interesting to compare how the different hops taste though.

Rated on 01-17-2010 (Bottle) When poured, the head is large, smooth and semi fizzy. The body is hazy, fizzy carbonation, lots of floaties, fair amount of lacing, and a golden hue. The Aroma is malty, some caramel, hoppy, and citrus fruits. The Taste is bitter, hoppy, caramel, malt, and citrus fruits. The Palate is smooth and the beer is medium bodied. Overall, I enjoyed the flavors of this beer as I did not find it to be overly hoppy tasting. This beer is worth trying and a beer I would drink again even though I am not a hoppy beer drinker.

Bottle from Brewdog shop. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, tropical fruits, floral hops, pine and resin. Very nicely balanced body with lots of hops, yet not completely overpowered by them. Bitter finish with grapefruit and resin. Excellent IPA.
