330ml bottle pours a golden orangeish color with a big white head that retains well and leaves some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is pine and citrus hops with some toasty malts. Taste is a bold citrus and pin hop bitterness on top of a solid malty backbone. Medium body and lively carbonation. This is an excellent tasting experience.

330mL bottle, enjoy by 10/04/10. Hot-pink label. Light copper color, thin light tan head. Aroma is fruity, and herbal, lots of pine and citrus. Tastes is medium bitterness, lots of wooded character, again mostly pine. Pine bark bitterness all through the finish followed by sharp grapefruit rind bitterness. Overall, I enjoyed the bitterness of this hop along with the aftertaste of lingering hop bitterness.

On tap at Night after Monsters. Pours a cloudy copper with a small off white head. The aroma is pine hops and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet malt and light hop. Easy to drink, a very good IPA from Mikkeller.

Hazy amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of floral hops, caramel malt, some yeast, & citrus; Flavor of slight sweet malt, caramel, pine hops, and citrus (notably grapefruit); Finish is bitter; Nicely balanced; The Warrior hops definitely had pine/resin qualities but not over the top - pretty decent overall.

Golden & hoppy, head comes white. Still taste the mother beer. The most bitter of the single hop serie. 136 ibu!

Theres a big piney and citrussy nose with an almost vanilla-like background. Pours a decent pale brown color with a medium foam top. Tastes of interesting pines and nutty malt with a light leafy hop presence. Texture is thin with a decent malt and hop combo on the finish. Overall, this is a pretty standard tasting beer. Not very impressive flavors, mostly light malt and hop accompanied by alcohol flavor. I’d give it a C rating.

To me this is exactly what an IPA should be. Too many brewers make an IPA by adding a ton of hops to a mediocre beer and end up with something at best overpowering, at worst harsh. Mikkeller starts with a really good base beer, then adds IPA levels of hops. The result is balanced from start to finish, and as enjoyable as any pale ale I’ve ever had.

I think this sat on a shelf over a year or more,it has broken up yeast floaties also. Color is an amber ogangish brown with a good creamy thick head with lacing.Aroma of malt spice/pepper refined citrus and even a bit of cat-piss. Mouthfeel is great with spicy herbal citrus hop flavor and a peppery citrus bittering. With some carmel taste in there.Had i had this when it came out im shure it would have a much better rating-but since this has collected dust a while its as -is.Still a good tasting beer .

Light brown, beige look, large head. Aroma of strong hops. Taste is very bitter and has a nice lingering aftertaste of hops.
