3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled at Sorbon, Stockholm. Cloudy pale amber, rich firm head. Somewhat yeasty nose with pleny of seville orange. Sweet and medium bodied, fruity and marmeladey withalmondy Belgian style yeast character. Increasingly bitter - the seville orange marmelde slowly degenerates into bitter almond and resin. Complicated and cofusing despite maintaining a clean, fairly simple flavour profile.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Pours out in a hazy pale amber colour with dense frothy white foam. Grass, orange-peels, salt, and grapefruit in the aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of grass, metal, caramel and bloodgrape. Grassy bitter finish of touches of orange-peels, pine-needles Not bad but I certainly expected more, felt a bit old and stale and lacking some freshness.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2009 Cloudy orange with a big off-white head. Hoppy aroma, of grass, herbs, pine and grapefruit peel. There is a bit of malt sweetness, but grassy hop flavour and bitterness dominates. Full bodied

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Orange with a dense head. The aroma is somewhat one-sided: grape, metal and other citric elements. The flavour continues along the same line, being aggresively bitter. It lacks some counterpoints from the malts - or perhaps Iím just not that into the Warrior variety.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draft at Brewpub Kobenhagen. Arrived hazy copper color, with a small, yet thick beige head that leaves lots of lace. Brash hop aroma, crisp florals, a bit of perfume, lemon rind and toasty malts. Flavor is dominated by citrusy and resiney hops, bitter and puckery with more of the toasty malts lurking in the back ground. But overall this one is dedicated to the glory of the Warrior. Medium body with assertively prickly carbonation.

Flavor is medium bitter. Tastes of Warrior hops, pine, hop oil, light citrus, resin, and a hint of caramel. Medium body. Creamy, tingly texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy, bitter, floral, pollen finish is lightly dry.
