Cloudy orange with rich tan head. Hoppy aroma, fruity, some red berries, barnyard murky note. Taste is bitter, earthy, herbs. Esthers, phenoles. A bit belgian with more maltiness. Rough. Nice thickness.

This beer will forever deserve a special place in my heart. Given to me by a gang of entrepreneurs and hopefully now friends from Denmark. This was the first beer they let me try. It is a wonderful old school IPA. While a few IPAs hit well on the first taste but do not round off well, this beer really does just that. A well brewed beer through and through.

330ml bottle. Hazy, copper-ish amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy herbal hoppy aroma in peppermint direction, cardamom, melissa, liquorice, toothpaste and other things mouth hygienic. Taste is dry, minimally tannic, acidic, earthy, herbal hoppy, hints of melissa, stinging-nettle, subtle caramel malty basis; long lasting, minimally biting bitter finish.

Brown to copper body. Dank, bit dusty hops, less expressive than I though it would be. Alcohol makes up for this together with the biscuit malts. Still, I know there is more to offer by this hop, even in single hop variant. Admittedly the taste is well done but disappointment remains. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Bold flavor and aroma with a piney and floral touch. Nice caramel malt backbone that supports a strong bitterness that keeps on kicking.

tried at Colonna & Hunter, Bath. orange gold colour with a white head. Aroma is grassy and fruit hops, taste is crisp and fresh, but felt a touch thin after the other beers i tried.

Bottle@home. Amber haze. One finger foam. Good carbonation. Floral slight herbal. Moderate bitterness gentle though. The hop flavours are low.

Leicht trübe orangegoldene Farbe, große weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr grasig, floral hopfig. Geschmack sehr hopfig, die Bitterkeit hält sich in Grenzen, florale Aromen, grasig, gut!

Aroma of malt, pine, floral notes, tropical fruits, grapefruit, hops. Flavour is light sweet with a bitter finish. Very refreshing, nice balance between malt/pine and fruity hops.

In short: earthy bitter ale.
Pours hazy dark gold-amber with nice white head. Short head retention, some lacing. Earthy, resins, grassy nose. Medium body, average carbonation, little crispy texture. Taste is quite bitter, earthy, resins, pine. Dry and bitter aftertaste. Enjoyable.
