Bottle 330ml. @ home.

ABV: 7.5%. Clear dark dark red brown colour with a large to huge, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, sweet malt, dusty, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, hops, sweet licorice. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, dark malt, dry, sweet licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120926]

From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and crisp grapefruity to peachy hoppy. Bitter, grapefruity and dark roasted malty. Smooth fruity and crisp hoppy.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of hops, roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, roasted malt, and a bit of chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap. Cloudy opaque dark brown with a small, rough off-white head. Intense citrusy hops in the nose, no roast. Medium-bodied, very fruity, again no roastiness but perhaps a late discreet whiff of ashes. The finish is dry and bitter with plenty of good citrusy hops. Very fresh. 180712

Bottled. Deep brownish coppery colour, close to black, with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is ripe fruits, some liquorice, mild spices and some roasted and fruity notes. Flavour is roasted malts, liquorice, fruity and some mild chocolate and toffeeish notes.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Black coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Roasted and hoppy aroma of dark chocolate and grapefruits. Roasted and hoppy flavour of licorice, pine needles and grapefruits. Dry hoppy finish.

Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty det chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty bitter det chocolate finish.

Tap @ Christian Firtal, Odense. Pours unclear dark brown with a creamy head. Roast, liquorice and citrussy hops. Smooth and dry. On the malty side.

Tap @ Mikkeller bar. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich hops, roadt malt, pine, chocolate and notes of caramel.
