Rating #800.

Bottle, bb 12/16! Clear brown with a large beige head that lasts well. Aroma of grapefruit, marmalade, nectarines, nuts, pine, maybe a little chocolate. Medium carbonation, oily texture. Bittersweet with stone and citrus fruit, nuts, a bit of mild roast. No particular finish, but fruit and pine linger pleasantly. Not an awful lot going on for its strength, but a nice enough beer.

330 mml bottle tasted on the 14/11/2014. Clear dark colour with a huge tan head. Aroma is, basically, hops and coffe with notes of raspberries too. Taste is roasted malts, medium hoppy and dark fruits. Medium body and carbonation. A nice black IPA with a medium bitterness. Next one please!

Pitch black in color with a thick khaki foam. Deep fruity aroma with a hint of chocolate. Bitterness from both hop and malt leave an astringent finish on the palate. Taste is not bad leading with floral hops. It’s a good black IPA, but not much malt support.

Nutty citric smell. Sweet fruitiness. Subtle touch of chocolate. Dark fruit. Roasted nuts, touch of wood, lightly metallic. Surprising how much the taste differs from the smell. Subtle alcoholicntwang. Astringent finish, peels, puke.

"A really nice representation of a black ipa. Full flavored and aromatic. roasted malt and a little nutiness, chococlate, and significant pine and citrus in both the aroma and flavor. Pretty smooth, medium bodied. Pricey, but well done!"
