Bottle. Poured a mostly clear, slightly hazy yellow-orange color with a hazy white head. Aroma is fruit - lychee. Sweet notes of sugar. Flavor is sweet, a light tartness to it.

Big thanks to travlr for the share! Pretty turbid peach colored pour. Good soft lychee acidity, hints of apricot, good tannic oak dryness. Funk is there, but not overwhelming. Tasty.

750 ml bottle to taster (shared by dudeabide). Looks good; a semi-transparent orange with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells good too; tart, sour, fruity, and oaky. Tastes like it smells with a pleasant mouthfeel. Good beer.

75cl, new exclusive Danish brew Anno 2011, with lychees, from Mikkeller Webshop, complex sour fruit brew, fruity/sour and slightly woody/sweet, easy to drink, balanced, hazy, small head, good brew, yet expensive!, ’Probably due to aging I sadly didn’t catch much lychees in this sample.’

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Pours hazy golden with a large, white head. Aroma is of, brett, barnyard, wood and citrus. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and tart. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and soft carb. A nice and crisp Sour indeed.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line:
Soft lactic protrusions pierce this brew’s pleasant funk, as fruitiness varies from plain citrus to various tropical incarnations.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam covers the misty amber-hued blond.
-The lambic lineage is quite evident.
-Acidity is prominent, but not excessive.
-Lychee is not expressed that clearly, getting lost within the blatant funk and citrusy acidity.
-This could have easily been an experiment from an actual lambic brewer or blender.
Bottle. Thx Clark!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
HMOG 2014. Thanks random lady for walking right up and pouring me a hardy amount. This sour was muted in comparison to some of the day. Big bright fruity sour. Light and refreshing. In comparison to the Tart Lychee of NB this was much lighter but more vibrant. Pretty good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Thanks, Blake! Rusty amber colored body with nice clarity, & a fuzzy, white head that sinks to a ring very quickly. Aroma has some sharp, citric notes, under-ripe pears & lemon zest with only a very small hint of musty funk in the periphery. Taste isn’t as sour as you’d expect a beer called "Sour Bitch" to be. Abrupt, sharp tartness up front, but it quickly fades away. Apple skins, pears, mildly citric fruity notes... perhaps the lychee is buried in there. Light funk in the back-end with a hint of rustic oak, borderline mildew-y wood. Fruity, pear-like & mildly musty aftertaste. Not necessarily what I was hoping for, but still a good beer nonetheless. A mild lambic.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
