750mL shared on the RBSG bus. Low haze golden pour. Spotty lace. Nose is very fresh grapefruit, funky feet, grapefruit rind, major sweat and funk. Very similar to Drie Fonteinen nose- wouldn’t be surprised if this was brewed with a culture from 3F. Taste is a little bit harsh and butyric, shapr, leathery, no acetic acid. Leathery, aerated, potpourri. Lemon and orange acid, tartaric acid/sweet tarts. Very dry. Would be a total knockout if not for that harsh butyric acid.

Bottled at RBSG 2012. Nice funky acid nose, fruity, not exactly lychee. Deep bronze with lace. Nicely sour flavor, good barnyard, funky, creamy yogurt. Good stuff. Very fruity but it’s not clearly lychee.

Hazy golden orange body, Thinish off-white head. Nose is full of delicate oak, floral notes, and fruits. The lychee isn’t distinctively lychee but instead comes across as green grapes, white pear and green apple. The nose is more distinctive and defined than the flavor profile which exhibits similar notes. Medium to light bodied, mild acidity, funky, and tartness. Very good, but stacked up to similar lambics (like Vigneronne, in my opinion) this just doesn’t shine. That’s not to say this isn’t worth exploring... it is.

Pouring at The Festival in Worcester. Pours a hazed gold with a medium to large white head. Sweet floral funk, bright musk. Lots of bright acid. Toast and funk. Long brett bitterness, funky and delicious.

(750ml bottle 2011 vintage) clearish rich copper, Lasting creamy tan head. Nose is like a geueze, charred oak barrels, tart and funky, yogurt and herbs. Taste of wood char, lightly tart berries, earthy, Brett, well carbonated, awesome linger.

Bottle, 06/16/2012. Pours burnt golden color with impressively dense foam head, great retention and thick lacing. Aroma has soft tart fruity quality, notes of apricot, grapes, non-specific exotic tropical fruit, brett and horse blanket, some sweet malts. Compared side-by-side with some lychee liqueur, no lychee coming through here. Taste is sweet, tart maltiness, fruitiness more akin to kiwi, light lemon zest and funk on the end, oaky. Nice, light body, lively. In the end, interesting and restrained lambic, very glad to have tried.

Orange with a bubbly head. Above average mouthfeel. Funky aroma which is fine for the style. A good drinker, smooth and a nice sourness not expected from such sweet fruit.Very good sour, thanks Jason.

Bottle thanks to Owen. Pours a murky orange with thinnish light tan coloured head. Fruity aromas with a little brett earthiness and some acidity. Flavours show some yeast before a restrained dry sour finish. Not too bad.
