Pours hazy light yellow-orange with a fizzy head. Funky nose. Subtle notes of lychee and clementine. A bit of orange blossom. Not as sour as expected, really just a hint at the end. Thin, odd, metallic, but still pretty great.

Bottle shared by emacgee - thanks, bitch! Cloudy lemonade pour, with a nice fizzy carb. Bright nose, fruity, a bit ripe from the yeasts, a dose of dry hops. Mouthfeel was moderately acetic, most just sharp and dry. The taste was not as aggressive as I’d expected, and it came across like a barnyard pale ale or something in that idiom. Enjoyable.

Bottle… Hazy, light golden ale with a mid-sized, fragile, off-white head. The bouquet is spicy, funky and acidic. Medium to full-bodied with airy carbonation. The flavor is full of tart fuzzy fruits, plum skins and modest bitterness with a suggestion of bready yeast. Finishes lightly bitter, yeasty and tangy.

750 ml bottle shared by lushawn- thanks, Shawn! Pours a deep, hazy orange color with a moderate off-white head. Notes of tart white grapes, apricots, peach, lactic acid, lemon juice- nice bretty character throughout. I wouldn’t know a lychee if someone threw one at my face, but I was thinking of New Belgium Tart Lychee and I guess they seem similar. Medium-bodied, with medium carbonation.

Pour from a bottle thanks to my friend Kan. Light clear and golden in color with some white head. Aromas of tart fruit and barnyard funk. Light lychee, orange flavors. Solid sourness to this beer as well. Pretty decent finish and tasty. Not a bad sour.

Picked this up in a trade. Can’t remember who sent it but very excited to try it! No bottling date. Taken out of the cellar at 55 and poured into a Hill Farmstead Glass.

A - 2-Finger off-white head with big and small bubbles.Decent head lacing. SRM 2.5-3. Color is golden brown like a lot of beers I’ve had lately.

S - What a sour nose. Very intense sour scent with a huge funky yeast profile. I’m getting some dry fruits like apricot and banana chips with a healthy bit of raspberry

T - This is a very sour beer. It’s actually more tart and tongue electrifying bitterness. The beer is bitter but I credit it fully to the Lychee fruits which are known to be very tart.

M - 50/50 carbonation, medium body but not the champagne finish I was expecting. Very nice fruit juice finish with the bitterness that lingers on for a while.

O - Nice beer. Solid and very drinkable.

22-MAR-2012, bottle @Papsø. Golden with low almost white head. Tart nose. Exotic fruits and a little brett. Sour taste, very fruity. Again a little brett, and even salty...? Just fine.

Bottle (thanks HannonT for sharing)... Poured pale, yellowish with a lacy, off white head. Really nice tart, lychee, some citrus tones that meshed with sweet tart and smart-like malt sweetness. Tart, sour, not overly acidic. Light fruits, and a hint of funk.
