Bottle; Pour is apple juice gold, really - mild, lightly chunky head in this glass - retention is fairly average, I suppose. The nose is lychee, I guess - Never had it by itself - didn’t know exactly what to expect. I could call it simply fruity - I also pull vegetables, and white peppery spicing with some breads surprisingly. The flavor profile is lightly sweet, with a sort of grape character, breadiness, dusty oak - pepper, a fruitiness from the lychee - finishing lightly sour -

Cloudy Orange, small white head. very nice clean lambic aroma with a woody citrussy fruity note. flavor is dry and woody lambic, very dry, dryness and wood almost drowns the sourness, delicate, wine notes. For me, probably the most tasty lambic or sour out of mikkeller yet.

bottle... dark gold body with an almost peach hue, bright white head, great lacing with a solid ring, one of the better lambic’s I’ve seen... the aroma is quite nice and complex, the front is very fruity with light citrus and distint lychee bitter but a sweet note, the middle provides some great spider web musk, hay, farmy finish, quite good and complex, only wish the fruit was a bit stronger and less of an accent only... the taste loses almost all of the fruit but what is left is very good musky spider web gueze that’s very easy drink, as it warms the finish brings about a bitter fruit taste that breaks up the musk and adds great complexity... not an in your face fruit lambic which I like, but a refined subtle beer that is very enjoyable

Sampled out of the bottle at WLV Release (Chicago, IL). Pours a murky dulled golden hue, touches of darkness, well hazed, small frothy. Aromas are tart and potent, good sourness, oaken barrel and red wine mix with a distinct lychee appeal, lactic acid, lemons, and flaked wheat. Fairly sour on the nose, with a good dose of red wine tannins, funky cheese and barnyard come in a bit more. Initial is more gentle, solid lychee and touches of gentle red fruit, kisses of red wine tannins, oak, and flaked wheat. A bit dulled, with more funk and dryness coming in, a touch cheesy and dusty. Tartness sticks a touch on the finish with more oak. The bottles seem young, really wanna see these with age on them. Could definitely drink a lot of it, with the gentle funkiness, faint acidity, and barrel kisses into the end and lingering. Understated but it definitely works. Touches of sweeter and spicy lychee linger. Time is the theme here, and I think some more in the bottle will make this markedly better, but it is tasty and very drinkable as is, just seemingly a bit young and the lychee is a strange and different addition than your typical fruits.
