3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 25cl. Pours a rusty red/copper colour, gradually getting hazier, as you work your way through the bottle. Only a minimum of fragile, white head. Aroma of heavy cherry, rum, brett yeast, alcohol, oak, grapes, wine and only a tiny hint of hops. Taste is tart and sour with soft cherries, vanilla, grapes, wine and oak along with some yeasty characteristics which accentuates the sourness further. Long tart finish with a small alcohol burn, medium-full bodied, pretty lively carbonation, dry texture. A tasty and complex beer, albeit a little pricy.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled. An unclear red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of sour cherries and brettanomyces. The flavor is acidic with strong notes of sour cherries, phenol, acetone, and lacto as well as some notes of wood and caramel, leading to a very tart cherry and acetone finish. Nice one.
