3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled, from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Lightly hazy reddish copper colour, small head. Really tart and acidic with sharp vinegar and lemon dominating. Above medium bodied with sour cherries and some peppery alcohol warmth. Very intense, and definitely a beer that stands out. Wow!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Bottle… This beer rocks!… Cloudy, dirty orange ale with a small, quickly dissipating, white head. The aroma offers an orchard of tart cherries, huge acidity and is moderately acetic. Both funky and malty. Medium to full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. Wow! The flavor is sour as hell. Bushels of tart cherries alongside red wine vinegar and layered atop a caramel/graham crust. Alcohol warmth is a non-factor here. Very tart, drying finish. I could drink this all day long… until I pass out drunk, of course. Big time thanks to plovmand for shipping this overseas!

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer would pair really nicely with a summer salad, or reduced might make a tasty salad dressing. It poured cloudy with the appearance of a glass of V-8 Splash. It had a slight odor of nail polish remover, which also carried over into the taste, detracting from the fullness of the flavor of tart candied cherries.

Thanks to hopscotch for coming through with some euro specials. This danish gem poured up a a cloudy reddish color with a massive cherry nose. I mean really this is maybe the most aromatic beer I have had the pleasure of dippin my beak in. The taste was acidic and tart with cherry, vanilla, funk, and vinegar runnin the show. Great beer........

30-JUN-2010, bottle on vacation @Tranum, from "Ølbutikken".
Giant bobbles that dissappear quickly. Murky red/brown.
Sour nose with some barnyard and (off course!) cherries.
Cherries not overdone, but making it fresh.
Not alcoholic with long sour cherry aftertaste.
I may start to like sours?
