Good lambic style beer. Has the fresh sourness and the bretty body. Yet, it is inferior to a lambic beer from around Brussels.

Bottle from Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours cloudy golden with a thick white head and a sour fruit aroma. There is a pleasant traditional gueuze flavor with lots of carbonation and a dry tart finish.

Bottle at home with friends, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks man! Pour is clear orange with a small white head and decent lacing. Funky, dusty, skunky, grassy, straw, lemon peel, biscuit, and woody aroma. Taste is green apples, pear, biscuit, funky cobwebs, horsey, and lemony with a grassy bitter finish. Light body with soft carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle @ Steve_0’s palace, picked up in Copenhagen. Thanks! Pours a bit hazy golden appearance with an off white head. Basement / cobweb / dusty aroma. Definitely some lemon and lactic notes. Nice carbonation. Pretty funky, lemony flavor. Finishes with a lot of sourness and acidity. Pretty decent but not outstanding.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy golden pour with white head, big thanks to Aaron! Aroma brought notes of funk, earth, cobweb, hints of vanilla into a bit of oak, earth, slight lemony notes. Taste is a mix of lemon, oak, vanilla, cobweb, dusty, earthy, finishing fairly tart, slightly dry, oaky.

3/3/14. 375mL bottle from Louisville Beer Store. Golden orange pour with a big fluffy off-white head. A touch of skunk on the aroma, funky, mildly tart, hints at woodiness and vanilla. Funky flavor, mildly tart, bitter, oaky, finishes dry. Tasty enough, was hoping for more complexity and funk/sour.

Bottle from Mane Liquor, aged for 12 months. Fucking sensational stuff El! Easy going gueuze - nice balance of lemon tart and funk. So easy to slam down on a hot day. Banana and cloves come through nicely at the end. Nice stuff!!

Cuerpo ligero - medio. Bastante buena y muy bien conjuntada. Para repetir.

Bottle. Clear gold pour with frothy white head. Aroma is really authentic, wasn’t expecting something so lambic-like. Nice peppery brett aroma, light funk, just a hint of green pepper, grassy. Flavor is maltier, (light) sour, bitter grassy notes. Palate is light bodied, dry, with light carbonation. Tasty gueuze.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a big white head that dissipates quickly and leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of lemon, yeast, funk, sweet green apple, pepper and wood. Taste is lemony/citrusy, sour green apple, funk, yeast, light malty sweetness that transitions into a nice dry white wine/champagne. Overall I?m not used to much from this style but it?s very nice to drink and in fact I think I?d sub this for champagne if I could... Far more complex than most champagne and I find its easy to drink for a style I?m not familiar with. Well balanced too.
