375ml bottle from private import. Aroma: loads of cassis, red wine, vinegar, tartness. App: murky purple with medium pink, good lacing. Taste and palate: thin body, lively carbonation, really tart, light to medium sweetness, really dry acidity sweet and tannins finish. Overall: good stuff. Really tart, aroma is quite intense but I like it, at least it?s not too much for this bottle size. A good fruity lambic. Could be a bit less sweet but overall I liked it.

Aroma of cassis - no doubt about that. Other than that aroma causing ’dazzling’ on the nose. Taste is obviously sour with a bit of sweet fruityness coming from the background adding depth to the beer. Overall it’s a very decent one and worth checking out - I’ve really enjoyed it.

Bottle into a tulip. Pours a deep ruby, with a medium pink head that persists. Good lacing. Nose is sour cherries and a hint of brett funk. Taste is moderately tart cherry, with a very subtle cassis undertone. The funk is not strong but present nonetheless. Creamy mouth feel, with a lingering finish. Very nice sour lambic.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 23F). Bottle 37.5 cl - Batch unknown (BBF 04/07/24). AROMA: lambic-style brett aromas dominate with sour notes of barnyard and horsey. very faint and overwhelmed cassis aroma and some wood notes. APPEARANCE: dark ruby color and hazy. average pink head with moderate retention. TASTE: moderate sour flavour with characteristics like the aroma (horsey, goaty) and some wood barrel. fruit not very evident. finish is dry and tartaric. PALATE: medium-light to light body with a tart character. low carbonation. OVERALL: a poor fruit lambic-style beer without much fruit character. Resembles more a gueuze.

Bottle shared at home. Hazy purple with lighter purple head. Cassis, hay, sour grains, dusty. Quite funky, with some nice fresh fruits, followed by bitter hay and twigs. Taste is medium sour and light to medium bitter with very light underlying sweetness. Medium bodied with bit spritzy carbonation. A bit unrefined but not bad.
