An outstanding sour fruit beer enjoyed at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen. Sour and Cassis flavors blend perfectly together in this masterpiece. My favorite beer yet from Mikkeller.

Uno dei capolavori della linea fermentazione spontanea di Mikkeller, con intensissime note di frutta scura, ribes, che sollevano sensazioni acerbe e leggermente aspre che si fondono alla perfezione con l’acidità avvolgente e persistente. Birra divina!!

Bottle shared with friends. Another brewer that really has the sour/lambic style down to a science. Everything about this beer is incredible: great sourness, tartness and fruit flavors. They’re all there. Incredible.

Trevlig fat och bärdoft. Extremt syrlig med stora solbärtoner (svarta vinbär) Fantastisk trevlig eftersmak som är fruktig och sträv som tusan

Bottle into a tulip. Pours a deep ruby, with a medium pink head that persists. Good lacing. Nose is sour cherries and a hint of brett funk. Taste is moderately tart cherry, with a very subtle cassis undertone. The funk is not strong but present nonetheless. Creamy mouth feel, with a lingering finish. Very nice sour lambic.

bottle@Delirium Hoppy Loft – I picked the Mikkeller snifter as my glass – dark rhubarb/pomegranate colour with a light pink head, smell: I am mostly picking up acidic grape skins but if I know what I am looking for, I can pick up some fresh cassis in the background, not sure if I would find if I didn’t know what to look for & acid lemon, sour, taste is harsher than you would expect given the smell, very harshly acidic with plenty of lemon acid, some minor wood, light brett, barnyard funk, sour/acidic berries (plus grapes & minor cassis), very light bitter aftertaste follows a while after the sip, great stuff, taste-wise as far as I am concerned this is a real lambic

Wow... +10 for ’pucker factor’ fruity sour notes on the aroma. Very sour taste. Fellow raters mention a cheesy flavor. I can derive that from the sourness, but I’d say the fruity flavor masks a lot of it. Overall a fun beer.

Thick head, pink, whipped eggwhite consistency, stable, over totally cloudy burgundy to magenta beer. Overpowering Bretts/lambic/barnyard aromas, very convincing, and with fruity notes - I get blackcurrant icecream, but if that is foreknowledge or discriminating nose... Quite sourish - fruits, with again an icecream touch, fruit being clear blackcurrant, certainly in the finish. Some wholemeal cookies flavour, with blackcurrant stuffing, lemonjuice-covered. Better (fruit-)bodied than usual, very refreshing, well-carbonated. Very good lambic-type beer, but I would love to see the fruitiness yet more accentuated.

Bottle thanks to blomster, thanks! Pours a cloudy deep ruby red with a ruby white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice combination of cassis and funk with backing sourness and tartness. Flavor starts with sweet cassis, but quickly becomes balanced with tart cassis and a really nice funk note that included a hint of blue cheese. A delicious beer!

Very nice lambic from Mikkeller. Sour, but not overwhelming. Refreshing and fruity
