Bottle. Pours dark red in color with a small head. Marzipan sweetness mixed with cherries in aroma at first. Later on more red berries appears together with some wooden oaky notes. A bit on the tart side in mouthfeel. Lots of cherries, oak, bit red wine and again more cherries in taste. Light barnyardy notes and bit of damp wooden cellar as well in the end.

Bottle from Mikkeller online shop; Vimto purple pour with a quickly disappearing pink bubbly head, big tart cherry aroma, taste is winey with some grape action, some tart action, some wood, is this where wine and beer collide.

RasmusOtt (1171) - Aalborg, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2014
Bottle. Pours deep wine-like red with a tiny purple head. Aroma of sweet fresh cherries, sour lactobacillus, sweet berries, oaky notes, a clear tartness and some sweet red wine notes. Taste of fresh cherries, sour berries, an oaky wine-feel, decent tartness and cherry wine. Excellent balance between the tartness and the sweeter cherry notes. This was really a treat for me! Would love to taste the other versions!

Great mix between chardonnay and cherry. Pours ruby with good head and lacing. Some biretta. I don’t usually love barrel interference but this really works. Bottle thanks to Travlr.
