Bottle. Lovely cherry - the sugar is consumed by the yeast and bacteria, while leaving lots of flavor. But is it really beer?

Clear ruby colour, pink head. Aroma of cherry, red fruits, (red) gooseberries and wine. Cherry flavour, red fruits, light sour, wood, hint white wine. Finish red fruits, lots of cherries, wood and cherry pips. Lighter on fruit than the normal edition, more wine.

Drucken på Stockholm Beer & Whiskey Festival. Helt ok men ändå en besvikelse med tanke på originalet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

gyllenbock (5010) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 17, 2014
Bottle bought at Mikkeller & Friends in May 2014. Dark red with a small pink head. Tart cherries, wood, funk and light citrus. Vinous and with smooth mouthfeel. A nice beer although I think that the Malaga edition was slightly better.

Bottle. Pours a deep cherry red hazy body with a medium creamy pink head. Nose is deep caramelized-ish cherry tones, tart berries, biscuity nutty cherry pit tones and hints of barnyard funk and lemon. Taste is deep, semi-sweet cherry tones, lemon, cherry pits, mild biscuity flavors and hints of barnyard funk, wood and caramelized, jam-like red berries. Full, creamy body, medium to soft carbonation. Lovely stuff, complex and feeling extremely full of berry flavor from texture to taste. A very nicely balanced blend between sweet and sour. Pretty unique.

@ Gyllenbock 14-10-11: stor doft av körsbär men ganska mycket lenare än Malaga-ed. Smaken ät trevlig frisk, inte så syrlig och med en lätt eftersmak. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Bottle, split two ways. Pours a deep red with a tiny pinkish head, as beautiful a lambic gets. Nose has almonds, cherry, raspberries. Taste has loads of cherries, vanilla, almonds and a light tartness. Oily texture and light carbonation. Just that good! Wow!
