Små skillnader från Chardonay-varianten. Samma lilaröda utseende och vinlika doft. Dock har denna något större syrlighet och något mindre fatkaraktär i doften.

I like the chardonnay version better but these are pretty similar. Wine barrel still works well with cherry. Ruby red pour with pink head and lacing. Tart finish. Good stuff.

Bottle shared at a Sour/Wild tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Nice deep red color with a small pinkish head. Wonderful barnyard aroma full of juicy cherries, oak, a vinous note and a sweaty hint. Lovely sourish flavor with a sweetish note, barnyard, oak, a bit of lemon and lots of cherries. Rounded mouthfeel. Wonderful.

Bottle @ Bruce’s. Cheers to Kenny! Deep red pour with a small head. Sweet cherry fruit leather nose. Musty wood attic accents to the flavor. Quite earthy and rustic. Cuts some of the sweet berry compote character. Moderately acetic on the finish. Light body, active carbonation. Good.
