Opaque dark purple beer with a tidy mauve head! Palate is minerally crisp. Rich cherry juice, lesser blackberry and blackcurrant. Seltzer minerals. Crisp finish. Tasty!

plum colored with puffy pink head, rich and strong. Nose is moderately balsamic, very yeasty with fresh bread, sour cherries offput the sweetness. Tale of two cities moving to flavor, no balsamic but tart dry cherry skins, watery mid to finish, thin and sticky but with fizzy carbonation to keep moderately light.

Bottle. Really nice intense deep-red with an appealing pink head that settles fairly quickly. Beautiful to look at. Really solid cherry aroma, maybe with a hint of vanilla in the back? Maybe a hint of the oak. The taste is sour with some sweetness. Not as dense and full cherry as expected from the aroma. Also a little bit thin on the palate. But the cherry lingers on after swallowing. A really enjoyable sour!

Beautiful creation! Nice pink head, fades rather quickly. Smells like christmas to me; amarena cherry sauce. Taste is quite sweet and not overwhelmingly sour, very well balanced and full bodied. Superb cherry sour, one of my favourites of the style.

375 ml bottle.
Pours a dark ruby red colour with a pink head. Aroma of red cherries, nuttiness and wood. Rather rich flavour of pungent red cherries, wood, vanilla, dough, some nuttiness and cherry twigs. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel and a pungent cherry finish with some wooden notes. Good.

Bottle at Über Tavern. The beer pours a reddish-purple color with a thin pinkish-white head that evaporates quickly to a fizzy outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of cherries, oak and yeast. Medium-bodied with a semi-sour cherry character and notes of earthy yeast and wood. The finish is tart with a cherry and oak aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Big slightly purple creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is rich and concentrated, loaded with fresh sour cherries, berry skin, grass, oak, sorrel. Taste is slightly dry grassy, berry skin, fresh sour cherries, grass, oak, sorrel, hints of bark. Dry mouthfeel. Very nice, but should have been more sour.

Bottle I took to watch football with Andy, Max, Pearl, Paul. Pours a deep ruby and garnet hued red with a thin pink head. A touch of cough drops, a bit funky and weird, sweet, with a bit of that weird fecal note that sometimes shows up. Still rather nice. Medium-bodied, a little herbal, lots of delicate earthy cherries. A bit of funkiness, chewy cherry skin tannins, very delicate, a bit more earthy funk. Lingering cherry, a bit more funk. Rather tasty.
